My tractor is only 38 HP at the shaft . Do I need more power to run a big splitter ? 200 litres a min I think the Balfor is.

I have resurfaced . Had problems with getting on here , I only have a mobile and it played up for a while.

There are an old couple in Wroxham who need an honest fire wood supplier. Their daughter lives near me and is worried about them. She thinks they are being ripped off and their open fire is their means of heating. I will go if no one else can ,but it's a long way for me.

Morning everyone. I have been looking at the large Posch screw type splitter . I seem to remember that someone on here bought one and would like to ask them how they got on with it? Something like this would suit me for the time being for doing billets.

As a novice and with no training , I find it a little scary doing trees like this. It's not my proper job , I was given this tree by the Gardner for firewood. I just take my time and think it through. Makes me appreciate the skills /knowledge you people have. sent from my phone but never in work time.

Fireblight i would imagine. I noticed it on some whitebeam at a well known large tree nursery whilst cutting budding wood last summer. I think they had to muller the lot. sent from my phone but never in work time.
