  1. And then ask if a penny farthing is enough to power it
  2. If they were using the showers they could be getting close to the max supply for the house. Depends on the shower but say 10Kw Plus the splitter could be well over 55A. Best get a big boy extension lead 2.5mm, electric motors can be a bit noisy electrically speaking.
  3. You'd be surprised, whilst 3kw is only 13A it will draw considerably more at times under load. Start a hoover and it'll pull 15-20a or more when the motor is turned on
  4. Well I chose Speedo's over surfer shorts for that very reason, you don't want sawdust and chain oil over your junk or the ancient Stihl chainsaw
  5. Speedos obviously
  6. In that gruff movie trailer voice. Coming to an A&E near you, where there was once two legs, you get the idea.
  7. Right, reciprocating if you have a battery drill buy something compatible I'm sure Makita do one as well. Regarding the chainsaw, it looks awful. Without also sounding like the safety police, what safety gear have you got?.
  8. And using the smallest blade they sell, the big ones just get bent.
  9. Just don't use one on an extension lead, most are only rated unwound at 2400w
  10. A £40 reciprocating saw makes mincemeat of pallets but it's also the dust. Pallets are generally made of horrible hemlock, so less dust is better. I tended to make a stack and just work my way down, about 2 minutes a pallet and it's cut to a suitable length and I then used a wheelie bin. Your saw is too long for such work, you'll end up with it kicking back!. Just say NO!.
  11. eBay says £50 each, so £500
  12. Never cut pallets with a chainsaw, buy a cheap reciprocating saw for that sort of punishment.
  13. Probably quicker and easier to ring forst for support. If the engine is cutting out without being pressed I'd check the usual things like oil levels too.
  14. I'd say emergency stop, unless it does toast. Maybe a make and model?
  15. Granted it should be breathable I guess which might be an advantage, depends on the insulation value I guess. Sometimes it's more efficient to use the evils of modern insulation than double the depth for natural stuff.
  16. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385196010348
  17. Yeap, architects then engineers then the council building control, each wants a cut of the pie. Daft question I'm guessing you're timber is for non structural things like cladding, as doesn't it have the be marked and tested for say floor joists?.
  18. Your in Europe so easier to just find the closest distributor. There one for sale in Germany at €16500 ▷ Niko Robo Flail One Mähraupe Mulcher Fernbedienung - Used Mower listed on Used-Machines.com ⚙️ WWW.USED-MACHINES.COM Now on Used-Machines.com ⚙️ as classified listing online: used Niko Robo Flail One Mähraupe Mulcher...

Even if the government paid half we'd still be triple the price Daewoo and such can build them for in Korea. We can't even make large steel pipe in Germany anymore, probably Chinese or Indian.

Yeap, gotta love Vatternfall buying stuff like that to subsidise Sweden and you can't buy shares. Why premium bonds don't get their hands on them I will never know. Surely 33m is atleast a couple of turbines we could just take in exchange?
  21. If I ever get a hgv with a load sensor I'll let you know.
  22. I fill mine to the absolute gunnels, double stacked and let the stiff breeze work it's magic. Whilst I'm not disputing your scales, I don't think I'm far off my estimation, it might be somewhere in the middle as two guys can't slide a dried one on a concrete floor.

Moray Firth wind farm operator ordered to pay more than £33m WWW.BBC.COM The owners of Beatrice - Scotland's largest offshore wind farm - have admitted a licence breach.
  24. I'd speak to the UK consulate in BC, as I'm guessing you're wife is still dual citizen or you are EU/Canadian. Might be easier than you think as it's within the commonwealth. Probably don't even need a sponsor.
