  1. You paid for those!
  2. Blocked strainer or too thick a chain oil ?. Just thinking either of those would strain the pump and cause excessive pressure and wear.
  3. I don't own one, I'd like one but don't want to put pampas grass in the garden or open a membership scheme.
  4. I wasn't wanting an invite to someone elses.
  5. At today's briefing we had to bring in pine scented bleach, because the officers could only sniff out bs.
  6. I use a shower to get clean, a bath is generally sitting in your own filth. Plus don't get me started on those weirdos that shave in the bath, that's just worse on every level. A hot tub is usually for when you're clean and wanting to relax, added company would always be a bonus.
  7. Sod the list and just have the hot tub
  8. I've seen them installed both ways, but was always told grooves down allows better surface area to keep the timber dry and prevent warping as the flat surface is usually sealed/painted etc.
  9. Daft question, did you buy from a distributor or yourself?. Just thinking you might have mixed up the OD and ID, so it's shorter 🙂
  10. Top as it's a single bolt, the lower is one of those adjustable angle of dangle types.
  11. Think you got the wrong size belt, there should be a lot more lack. But a tyre iron/screwdriver can be used to lift it up and roll in into the next groove as you turn over the engine obviously with the spark plug disconnected.
  12. Groundworks for the footings are, probably because tree removal is just site clearance before you break ground so to speak and can be reversed.
  13. That would depend if Deckard had a discussion about your childhood memories, do you like sitting on rooftop in the rain ?. You weren't asking for our experience or questions, you directed us to presumably your Amazon affiliate store. In the old days dodgy salesmen atleast tried to sell miracle elixirs or more recently UPVC and hoovered door to door.
  14. Is it that the anti kick back stuff ?.
  15. I get a very licencing authority vibe instead of just a trade association.
  16. I'm not a Husqvarna man, but presumably once removed off the centre thread it's replaced from the underside as I'm sure it's just one big circular spring using the clutch cup as a impromptu retainer mechanism. Whichever is cheaper, new spring or new clutch. In reality it might just be quicker to take it to the local guy and they can pop it off in minutes instead of struggling.
  17. The middle does not move, the two outer sections swing out engaging the clutch cup. The spring keeps them disconnected at slow speed.
  18. Taking it off won't make a difference, as was suggested replace the spring or the whole assembly. You can't realistically unstretch a spring, it owes you nothing if you've had it for a while.
  19. Damn my shortsightedness!
  20. I'm not sure Mouse & Traveller poison will be a good seller!.
  21. Plus how close you're nearest dealership is, no point buying something when you have zero backup. Whilst they are built like tanks, you don't want to be driving up and down the country when it needs a look at.
  22. Bagging is never going to work, dry it then bag it.
  23. Well @Joedels, to assume makes what ?. In all seriousness tho, four years of advice has resulted in pretty much sweet fa, regardless of how you wish me to phrase, paraphrase, discuss or skirt around the subject in airy fairy ballet terms. As unless there are any other factors contributing to the damage, those are you two options, a third option would be to live with it as all you'll be doing is delaying the inevitable as the roots will keep growing and the cracks will keep needing filler. A root barrier will probably kill the tree or more likely encourage it to regrow and or ruin the barrier and the house either falling on it or growing under it again.
  24. Nah, we could just buy a few Norwegian Christmas trees like the one in London. Two birds one stone, every town and village in the land could donate it afterwards. Like they did with metal railings in WW2
  25. And what are you expecting us to say ?. Delete the tree or delete the house that was built too close ?.
