  1. Ignition looks like a Lucas key switch, best get a Google image and try belling it out with a multimeter. Start simple as they say 🙂
  2. Pine fresh air fresheners saves the Scandinavians once again!
  3. Why wouldn't the wood be suitable, didn't think snakes were beavers.
  4. Did you try it whilst sat on the seat, usually they have an interlock. No bum no Brum.
  5. It wouldn't be the first time I've put the 2 stroke mix in the oil side of a combi can either before realising my mistake.
  6. Hopefully 2 stoke or it's going back, again.
  7. Bit like most road drainage you see, the designers must all be Spanish judging by how little rain it takes to overwhelm it. Think it was Southport, the sand blows over the road, due to rules they have to landfill the sand as it's classed as waste.
  8. Bit hard to fit a bar without the adjustment mechanism.
  9. Have you tried the usual woodchipper guys Warrington way?
  10. Yeap, split and thrown in a covered cage outside. Six months and you couldn't tell the difference as it's all at 18%. Yeah, longer you leave anything with sap the more crystalline it gets but dry is dry.
  11. The spring keeps the clutch disconnected until it reaches a certain level when centrifugal force to overcome the spring tension to stretch and the clutch engages. Worn spring means it's stretched too much, allowing it to engage at low speed.
  12. Clutch springs are loose, be easier just to replace the whole assembly if it's not been done before.
  13. Righty tight, lefty loose and don't wreck the bush or you'll have to get another. Strange things happen when you go round the twist, we were singing the theme tune weren't we ?
  14. If you add Ed Hobbs, you get a few better results. The below was off a honey brothers manual on the internet. It listed Sierra Moreno Mercantile Co. But the website redirect was to below. https://blairsae.com/
  15. Well it looks like one of those 1970s style houses with parking on a little circle away from the front door, usually the footpath is not wide enough for the postman let alone a van. If you look at the neighbours with the lights on, they have built an extension over the rear driveway, hence why I asked if you could access where you took the picture.
  16. Access would be my first concern, as the house over the footpath has built over their driveway, has the homeowner also done the same behind where the picture was taken?. Yes I know you said van fits but looks bloody tight.
  17. They might be well maintained, but will have done double the hours sitting with the engine running on idle. So expect exhaust/DPD/intercooler/turbo problems etc
  18. Well for the sake of arguments, we round the total number of planes currently flying at 10k, each burning on average 9k litres per hour. That's at a low end of 90,000,000 litres per hour globally in the upper atmosphere.

  20. Effectively the butterfly effect. Weather improves due to lack of excessive clouds and localised rainfall, systems return to a normal restoration of normal heating & cooling from sunlight allowing better natural wind and convection. We had decent weather and no extremes
  21. Think you'll find it's worse, high altitude particles of dust and smoke cause cloud formations and other weather pattern's. Exact same thing happened after 9/11 for the best part of two weeks and the last time that Icelandic volcano stopped planes.
  22. Aren't you sure it wasn't an almost complete lack of air travel ?
  23. The Corsa van will be classed as commercial, so that's the basic, probably euro 5 as our euro 6 pickup was £320 last week. Simple solution is to buy a standard Corsa.
  24. I wonder if @manco has trouble getting staff, keeping them is probably the least of his worries. Would you work for £92 a day today, sweating your arse off and no doubt having you shouting and swearing like some beasted recuit?
