  1. Wouldn't that be something of an own goal ?
  2. Don't think you can contaminate steel production, it's more down to who is making it and to what price.
  3. Erm, what!.
  4. Does that Torx driver come with a matching set of long handle forceps to pick up the lost screw that inevitably follows ?
  5. Bitcoin or using gold coins isn't exactly a practical solution either, nor is resorting to using the US dollar like Zimbabwe. Currency was created so we didn't have to lug around bags of gold or silver, hence the I promise to pay the bearer on demand phrase on our notes. That was one of the advantages of each country using a different currency in the past. A country's debt altered the rate, you can't do that with something like the euro to any degree which hasn't helped inflation. To a certain degree the real problems probably started when foreign companies started buying UK debts to make a profit, historically all debts were kept in house and so any profit also did.
  6. Cracking value for money, even delivered with the duties it's around £1.5k. Not sure how badly the tracks would damage the grass. What about a electric Flymo on a rope instead of 2 stroke, you can atleast collect the grass clippings.
  7. Think you'll be best making a tip site listing or speak with your local tree companies.
  8. You can't tar fox poo with that sort of packham stench
  9. If they're built anything like the basic Sip chainsaw trousers. My green ones are hot as hell, but built like a tank and get about 5 years a pair.
  10. Yeap, it certainly makes dog poo look tame. And has that ability to remain in your nose for days!
  11. Generally fox poo is shall we say fragrant in a bad sense
  12. There was me thinking it would be titled, 100 poos and where to find them. Maybe with a handy credit size ruler for scale and starting at elephant and working you're way down to woodlice.
  13. I've not heard about that, I do know that the reds can smell them and greys can't. Just presumed like most predators, they just move territory to a place with easy prey. The greys around me are wary for good reason but the buzzards are helping to keep a check on things.
  14. I'd go with something like a pine martin too, as they are very omnivorous plus the photo looks like a woodland area. Without knowing roughly where in the world you are, if it's pine martins you'll probably notice a reduction in grey squirrels population and or an increase in reds. Which is never a bad thing!.
  15. Plus it's tainted the axe, chainsaw and any other gear he's worn.
  16. Your honour it was a very spicy pizza
  17. It's perfectly safe to burn
  18. Usually indicates there's is a nail somewhere
  19. Cheaper and less chance of getting reported for doing something naughty. Ecoplug and keep cutting off any new shoots, eventually it'll use up all it's stored energy and die. Might be worth stump grinding to accelerate the process.
  20. Speak to the planning officer for an initial indication. They are usually pretty open and let you know the score even before you buy a property.
  21. It would make Lyndsey Hoyle's job a little more entertaining, but can we atleast have red squirrels instead of horrible greys ?. Unless that is some how going to be representative of the north south divide ?
  22. It's certainly getting pretty scary, especially when you look abroad to see where things are heading energy shortage wise. Personally I think most of the developed world has no option but to backtrack on all the green whitewashing shenanigans and start going back to nuclear and maybe start thinking about using those wind turbines when it's too windy and excess solar for possibly heat storage or at the very least hydrogen production.
  23. Even those in the rural backwaters need a bit of light relief and a fag afterwards 🙂
  24. On the plus side you'll need your gloves on for any hot drinks and anyone with burnt hands will have to confess to stealing his mug.
  25. Just petrol and diesel!, next you'll be saying they don't even sell Nobby's nuts or something adventurous like pot noodle in that rural backwater!
