  1. My prince I fear I have committed a grave error in my facsimile and realise why they burned through it so quickly and your captor's dissatisfaction. In my eagerness to secure your freedom I mistakenly sent a facsimile of a kiln dried log. As a good Catholic Nigerian, fish would be for Friday's and not a Thursday. Amen.
  2. I never mentioned if I wouldn't be screaming like a little girl. Obviously in a macho way without flouncing around with my arms in the air like I just don't care. I'd just hope I would that's all, I just can't fathom what happens eventually with people leaving. At what point does they're country collapse and then what ?.
  3. Well I think we can safely say we will never find out on that. But wouldn't you want to protect and fight not just for your country but you're family, village etc ?.
  4. Without sounding old fashioned I would feel like I was shaming my history as I am proud to know enough about history in general to respect how we have got where we are. It's the rough with the smooth argument, if I was from a war torn country I would want to stay and make it better and not flee.
  5. Problem is the young know very little about the country they live in. I know you're stance on Brexit, but at the same time you moved legally and aren't really entitled to much from the Swedish government tho.
  6. How many facsimiles equals a builders bag and have they got enough kindling ?. I would not want to short change them and risk my woodsure certification or the sacred life of a prince amongst my people. Can you facsimile by return a proof of life as I would hate to engrage your father as he has many sons, wives and daughters and they are all selling jewellery to pay the ransom.
  7. Sadly that's pretty much a description of most of the young, grown up in the EU and have zero sense of country or the history that brings. That's not a banging the drum nationalism. As you must seperate the layers, but other than relocation for say work, I would never leave up sticks and leave. Ok, I am a farmer so indebted servitude aside. Maybe that's different for those living in towns and cities, but my forebears fought for this country and I wouldn't want to shame that away.
  8. Why does it sound like they're slowly turning our intelligence services into a Johnny English film ?.
  9. Dear Nigerian prince, as a loyal countryman such as myself. I fear I might be unable to give you those details as I think my wife and possibly the bank manager have planned my demise as the plane might be crashing. Unlike my wife, bank manager and possibly a recently added FBI agent are much more Christian than I. I fear all is lost and they will take all my gold.
  10. Dear Nigerian prince, where should I post my firewood. Will a facsimile of one of my finest be sufficient to secure your freedom?
  11. There are plenty of more local and brand specific ones dotted around the country.
  12. This blueberries thing does make me wonder why they can't machine pick them and juice them for schools to have like they did with milk time. Or turn it into ethanol for the horrible E10 we have to buy. They go on about a cost of living crisis, well turn it into cheap deserts etc etc. Same with wonky veg, well slice it and sell it for 20p a bag.
  13. Just do what every other EU country seems to do, not a resident = zero benefits. Exceptions maybe made but they must be reviewable and those okaying made fully accountable. Free flights home, no passport required. And for these do-gooders, where does the funds come from and maybe make it an accessory crime?.
  14. But they paid 5k to not get wet feet!. That's more a lesson in economics than swimming
  15. None sequential notes preferable, all and any offers of favours will increase not decrease the price.
  16. Don't suggest they need swimming lessons and a pool or center parcs will be bought out by border force!.
  17. Wasn't it just a measly 35k to keep a person in prison?
  18. That per 100,000 figure won't take into account our UK population is one of the highest in Europe.
  19. Don't get me started about horses, they do even less for the environment. Having had horse types in the past, I've long ago decided never to repeat the mistake as I'm still repairing the damage even after 20 years. The BBC will be blaming Brexit and lack of foreign workers, whilst blueberries are probably mechanically harvested and could be turned into juice or alcohol cheaply.
  20. You could even argue about the large country parks around and inside London. Huge acres of grass, just mowed off so Tarquin can shout Jesus Christ at his dog.
  21. Most of your root veg is UK, as most of it gets put through the factory in Measham. Not so much gets flown in except the quick perishable stuff. Shipping containers were historically the most efficient form of transportation, it may do ridiculous like 6" to the gallon, but it's 18,000 containers.
  22. Think the year round glass house type growing was always limited by the cost of heating. Which skews the cost viability, the Dutch seem to have made it profitable tho. But at the same time they fly green beans in from Africa and still make money.
  23. And a tiny 1.03% or less of global co2 emmisons. Sacrificing usable grazing & arable land on the premise of climate change for trees, just forces you to buy in food from elsewhere, unless you're prepared to forgo you meals and eat the bugs ?. Letting land go fallow when it could be turned into high welfare, sustainably grown meat, should be a crime in itself to waste it.
  24. It could be water hammer, I have it at home on toilet cisterns and fast closing washing machine solenoids as older houses aren't fitted with pressure regulators to quieten the effects. As demand drops in the mains, pressure increases. If you're shower is mains fed you get a better shower late at night due to a increase pressure.
  25. Erm, what now?
