  1. Hi all anyone live in Tipton Birmingham need a huge favour.pm me please Kev
  2. I've got three 4mix machines never had any probs at all.Long reach hedge cutter the kombi and strimmer which is the machine that gets a lot of use sometimes does a seven hour day no probs.
  3. Got that right Steve they are great bits of kit.Small price to pay if it makes it easier sure does that a.Cant believe the weight that i pull out with it.I think they also got good spares backup to.Im sure mine was a bit cheaper than that or did you get the larger one.
  4. Yeah works fine with chip still gets stuck behind wheel arches some people block them off to stop this also gets stuck if crammed in to tight to truck man etc top
  5. You can and i do use the load handler with my ranger with the arb top in place.Just set up the other way round to fitting instructions so you wind from drivers side you do need someone to hold the tailgate down when you first start winding as the tie down straps are the wrong way up. There proberly is someway of stopping it from lifting but not looked in to that yet.By setting it up this way it means that i can keep it all in place and still keep the tailgate shut or as someone else said unclip it and put it inside the truck .
  6. Had mine for some time now not had one call.Get more from my sign written truck.
  7. as above stagger
  8. I use the TW13/75 brought new few years back bloody hard work.Chute far to high and due to a small throat would only chip straight stuff. So couple of months back i removed the original chute had a chat with my mate and come up with some plans to make another one.We lowered it and opened the throat as wide as we could put the grab handles back we even put an axle and wheels on the front so i can winch it up on my trailer and push it around by myself had it powder coated put all the decals back on it you would never know its a cut and shut.It now eats most stuff i feed in.Its transformed the machine so much know that I'm taken on the bigger jobs that i would have to hire a bigger machine.Just last week chipped two good size Beach trees no probs.Dont get me wrong its still not or as good as a machine with feed rollers and i do have to trim some of the forky stuff like Oak but nothing like i used to.It will chip 3'' ok anything else is for the wood burner and if you feed it stuff like honey suckle/ivy etc as long as you feed it a bit at a time its ok but as with all these machines keep the blades sharp. You can get these machines quite cheap if you want to make a feed hopper but if i was you put your money in a new machine CS 100 or the small Bandit is a FAB machine and put the rest on drip.I brought a second hand TW13 75 used it twice and that was it wasted £700 er in doors still gives me grief about it.
  9. They don't self clean aswell as the Cooper tyre but still a good tyre.
  10. Got the Cooper st on my ranger 60% off road 40% on been in some thick mud no probs. As above mind the wet roads but i think most pickups are the same as there so light on the rear
  11. I see one for sell somewhere on flee bay i think nice hilux with arb back in met blue also see a ranger in orange
  12. That fuel only can i was on about is made by Birchmeier and is called Rapidon 6
  13. I also use a white see through anti spill fuel only can for when out strimming that has a red flip out spout and a red flip out tap that you push in to release the fuel it also has a large main cap to help filling.Ill have a look to see if it has a makers name on it as its a fab can better than both the Husky and stihl.Been tipped over in the back of the truck and never leaked just a shame its got no oil bottle but i still use it on a lot of my jobs.
  14. Wow fab job that
  15. I had a stihl combi can liked the tool storage and being able to see how much fuel oil is left but the screw on spouts kept cracking when tightened up so took it back and got the husky can.
  16. Got the same prob but oil end,The only way i could get it to sit square is to not put the rubber washer in and cut the three little plastic bits off that line up with the holes in the nozzle as one was bent which stopped it all lining up.Still not right but will have to do.
  17. Im sure that someone at the motor museum once told me it was used to make bearings in cars way way back.
  18. no tip round my way would let me in with that size trailer mines 7x5 and thats a no no.Commercial site for me a lot easier and faster to tip.
  19. Im in the same boat got to fell some trees on a site but got no cscs card looked on their site and it says they don't do them for chainsaw operatives and BALI are the people in charge of this now.
  20. Hire a scarifier (PETROL).Ive used evergreen 4in1 complete with very good results.
  21. cheers ill look into that then.
  22. Been ask to look at some tree work on a demolition site.Someone said that i might need some type of cscs card or is the NPTC id card equivalent. This is a big step from the gardening and tree work that i do so before i do a site visit i want to do some research.
  23. Been ask to fell some trees the company are going to be holding the tree with a grab whilst i put in the cut.Not worked in this way before so what type of cut would you all recommend.Nothing to big max dia is about 14'' few firs and some limes.
  24. I to used it for five or six months waste of time.Saying that though I've tried ads in shops local magazines even gone down the website route all with no joy.The best type of advertising i found is recommendation and advertising on truck.
