I was always told a sharp saw is a safer saw cuts easier yep so would do more of the work for the old boy and now he can hopefully see how easier it is to use sharp he might try not to cut up his drive.

Id use my 365 first then try the 550 on some nice big rings.How you getting on with your 550 Eddy_t.My first saw had on going starting problems when warm do you have any tips on starting when warm or is it just the matter of finding the right way for your own saw.

I didn't want to say anything but i have the same problem with my caps tightening themselves i thought it was old age setting in but i fill better now.

Picked up my new replacement 550 this morning after nothing but trouble with the first one.After a bit of advice do i keep the saw or sell it and get a non auto tune as i have lost all faith in this product and what saw to replace it with.Also if i did keep it should i set the auto tune as the manual states as the dealer said no need to but this would of been set to work shop conditions and not for outside use or is this the idea of auto tune.I know it might seem a daft question but any answers welcome.Kev

Ive got one not bad little machine.As above hopper bit to high but you can adjust the angle to shoot the chips mine shoots straight into my ranger pickup or straight in the trailer.I find unblocking (wet conny) easy just one bolt and in you go. Ill be sorry to see mine go as I'm soon to upgrade.

Give arbor-venture a call.I did a course with them the other week and see an advert about rec climbing.Not to sure if its just for parties but worth a call or check out there site.

Pollard seems fair.TPO'S are there for a good reason.A customer of mine had the same problem.They to wanted to build an extension but LA refused planning as the footings would mean disturbing the root structure.What the LA say goes.

The trouble with some of these assessors they get trained at collage and get ask to stay on to be an assessor without spending a day out in the working environment is this right

Best of luck trying to get a new saw out of husqvarna my 550 been in nine times I've ask and ask for a new saw full refund goods to same value not there policy.If it goes again then a call to trading standards next.

Take all the other expenses out insurance/running the saw /transport/tax man the list goes on and on.Dont leave much for a hard days graft but we all love it though.We could be sat in a office for a living poooo.I love working outside and wouldn't change it for the world as long as your healthy and happy at what you do and get paid happy days

I use a electric clarke 150 power washer with the spinning turbo nozzle fab bit of kit.Dont get the petrol version

I use green otter very good site.They take wood chips all types of green waste fence panels.There is a price to pay.Ask for simon and he will sort you out.
