  1. Best to start with a few tugs before the blower kicks in I think.
  2. I don't think I ever saw a badger sett dug straight down before, they have always been sideways into banks or ditch sides. When they have been established for some time you can usually spot them from the bedding which they drag out to put new in.
  3. They never made a nice Harley Davidson There's a reason it's been parked for months, they say that 95% of all Harleys ever made are still on the road. The other 5% made it home
  4. How were you holding the saw to melt the back of your glove. First thing you do with a saw is take the spark arrester off. You sound like you have a lot of bad luck with saws, for your sake don't try sky diving
  5. My bet is on an ash tree jumping in and pushing them both out
  6. Get somebody to press the brake pedal with the offending indicator on while you look at the lights (with the engine running or ignition on of course) Mine had a problem where the indicator would not work but when you pressed the brake the rear light flashed instead. I cleaned the earths up and the terminals in the lamp unit on the car and it cured it.
  7. Doesn't work with dinner, how can it work with anything else ? It's better to have and not need than to need and not have.
  8. When you give that extra effort do your pants get shorter ?
  9. They could have driven it down that bit of an incline, posers
  10. Reset your browser to default. That fake warning can occur on any page you visit not just arbtalk. Download Ccleaner and run it.
  11. It may be better if you start near the end instead of going straight for the middle
  12. I can't see any location mentioned for it yet either, it must be a top secret job. Put your location in your profile and give the prospective takers a clue. If it was round the corner someone might do it as a filler in job.
  13. Simple things that make life easier are always worth sharing. Job well done Chris.
  14. Suspicious white powder posted to a Scottish MP and a free other recipients according to bbc Sent from my KFFOWI using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. About £120 I think, £155 is about the maximum you get if you have 35 years NI contributions. I have 33 so will be £9 short but I can buy two more years at £740 each to make it up so in 13 years I will have got my money back, bargain.
  16. How can you be at your best and getting better If you enjoy what you are doing it's not like work so don't expect to get paid for it Seriously if you feel up to it why even ask for anyone else's opinion, only you can be the judge of your abilities.
  17. It's a special floor covering to make the trees stand out so they are easier to spot.
  18. It would stop opportunist thieves but not offer much resistance to anyone who came equipped for the job. A portable angle grinder to cut the end of the securing bar and it's out and away. Screwfix do a lock that covers the padlock for similar money
  19. Hailstones and sleet and black sky just started here, it's like the apocalypse
  20. Incontinence, mystery aches and pains, memory loss, bowel inconsistencies, deafness, eyesight weakening, memory loss Apart from that it's all good, oh! nearly forgot memory loss I think you'll find that's tinnitus Stefan, comes under the deafness heading
  21. No, [ame] [/ame]no, [ame] [/ame]
  22. Apart from that, what did the Romans ever do for us ? [ame] [/ame]
  23. If the clutch drum is a bit oval or your clutch bearing is dodgy it will catch. If it spins freely no problem.
  24. Does the clutch spin freely by hand with nothing attached to it ?
