  1. Using a saw held above shoulder height is frowned upon isn't it ?
  2. Did you have a barbecue after ? Here's my offering, there's a Dynamac DY41 in the shed as well but I'll have to dig that out later. 135 and Chinese ebay 25cc top handle
  3. Is the exhaust coked up ?
  4. What chain oil are you using, raspberry ? I think it's over oiling anyway
  5. When I'm down in the dumps I like to treat myself to some clothes or something. I wondered where you got them from ?
  6. The sun then parted the clouds asunder Everyone looked up in wonder And the brollies went up and all got under To cover their heads against the thunder. "Me"
  7. There are both catalytic converter and DPF (diesel particulate filter) fitted to diesels. DPF have a special cycle to run through to stop them getting too blocked, some use special fluid like AD Blue to clear them and cost an absolute fortune to replace and put the vehicle into limp home mode if not working properly you have to run the engine hard for a set length of time every month or so to stop them gobbing up.
  8. Bother, I cut mine too short. It would look more arty with some 5" nails though wouldn't it ? Wife just looked at it and commented it's a chopping block

    what big saw ??

I think we just keep seeing it from a different angle
  10. 5 gallon you probably need waders as well The bike shop gets it from a place called A-Chem in Alfreton, it's spot on for stainless exhausts and alloy wheels and casings. I've used it on old carbs as well and they fizz when you drop them in. Don't leave it long and have some clean water or some with bicarb diluted to dip them in after to get the acid rinsed off.
  11. I get similar to that but it is blood vessels and makes the finger look bruised.
  12. Sun's out here after some really high wind last night and -1.5°c overnight. I might even go outside in a bit to see what's gone missing and stand the wheelie bins back up.
  13. With water is the proper way to drink it

    smart tv

We got a LG smart telly a while back and there's a magic remote (their name for it) with a pointer you can use like a mouse. It was an extra £30 but it makes inputs a lot easier when you have to put passwords and names in, we did try a keyboard and mouse but it was a bit hit and miss. Youtube and iPlayer are good and you can get 4OD and the other replays on the internet bit so there's usually something to watch when BB and reality is on. It won't talk to my Samsung phone on android though.
  15. I was looking at pictures on a website in an email and this one caught my eye. It looks a bit overloaded.
  16. You can get a version of Wine that runs on Mac.
  17. Best wishes and hope they can help her get well, stay positive.
  18. It'll be like a weebls cartoon at their house. That Partner video looks and sounds speeded up, it's like a mad wasp.
  19. It looks spot on for climbing
  20. No but I remember a bit of flooding and some bloke called Noah picking me up, they are looking for him again down Somerset way I think
  21. People older than me then (I'm 61 )
  22. Gee thanks Pumping membrane is something I've never heard it called.
  23. I've just been a walk and spotted these two in a garden on the main road with mad growth in the middle of both trees, looks interesting. The one behind the lamp post has a split trunk which looks like it has grown back together.
  24. The carb doesn't really hold any fuel, it doesn't have a float bowl or anything and the diaphragm pumps the fuel. If some fuel is getting through and then it stops there is something wrong with the carb. When it's on choke the suction from the piston will pull fuel through but when the venturi opens the suction goes if the revs drop.
  25. What, using them as sandbags ?
