  1. Ok ok, I know that it’s best practice to bury the wire properly, which is what I always did when I did a fair bit until about 10years ago but it was on a day rate. But there must be a rough average per metre..... just folded?
  2. Hi, sorry phone mislaid[emoji849]not being dug in just folded out, didn’t think of that, though of course can make big difference to labour!
  3. Hi , a friend of mine has asked me what the price per metre is for rabbit fencing (labour wise). He’s not particularly keen on doing it but it’s an ‘in’ for a load of other work that he does want. 1.2 m mesh 4” posts 6” strainers but not sure on the metreage(?)Thanks in advance John
  4. Bill Oddy came and judged a bird box competition near me a few years ago.... he was an obnoxious arsehole. Did actually quite like packham until the shootin ting and I don’t even shoot often. What a Knob

  7. Nice Chrysler! I just bought ‘62 Ford Zodiac mk3, needs lots of work, early days though as not got it home yet
  8. Squirrels can definately kill a tree live had a couple of 8” dbh hornbeams completely bark stripped by them, apparently this is done, mostly, by juveniles in the spring. Don’t really know about sycamore though except we found some with little rings of bite marks around diameter of them on the trunks and presumed it was the grey devils. Also sycamore well in leaf around here.
  9. It wasn’t slack’s it was mine[emoji33] thought I’d got away with it!
  10. First go with new panther mill, a gate post, I have a smaller one to match the other side
  11. She makes a good baddie! She was mo-mo in the judge dredd film (NOT the sly Stallone one)
  12. Cool, How many hours work does that represent?
  13. Cool, never seen one before, we’re on heavy boulder clay with sand lenses, have cultivated thyme within feet of where it landed though. Is it gonna decimate it[emoji33]
  14. Very nice, the burr in last pic has a dog stuck in it!
  15. If there’s plenty of brash left put some over the stumps to keep bunnies/deer off, I’ve found it works well.
  16. I’ve been saying this for 25yrs: https://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/environment/environment-could-have-been-saved-years-ago-if-protesters-didnt-look-like-twats-20190416184739
  17. Think that dog would appreciate this!
  18. I never take cash up front for work but I’m happy to let people pay for materials. It’s quite sad there is so little trust left
