  1. I wouldn't want to clean the glass on the first or the second one. And all that nasty looking timber walling needs covering in some Welsh pebble dash. cheers, steve
  2. Charlie & Merrick (MC Rustics) helped build our barn (agriçultural) - they're lovely chaps & did an awesome job. Cheers, steve
  3. Hi Jon, that's a good plan. I've noticed the Husky oil being thinner than the Oregon.... certainly pours easier. Please pop a thread on Arbtalk when you start selling it.... cheers, Steve
  4. Didn't you need to submit drawings with your application? cheers, steve
  5. Lovely jubbly. Thanks for the explanation. Were they invented in Israel? Cheers, Steve
  6. Oh, yes, you are right.... they are £17.50 for one satchet. That's the kind of mistake I make first thing in the morning. I may have got distracted by the chocolate croissant crumbling over my lap! I have indeed young man. I saved myself a few pennies too - by washing them out. Now I'm confused!! Quite a few have given a thumbs up to the Israeli bandages and you are saying to go for an impregnated bandage. Is similar to a Stihl vs Husky moment?! cheers, steve
  7. I was just perusing chainsaw stuff and glanced upon this.... thought it would be sensible to get a few satchets to leave in my gear bag or attach to the fuel can. £15 seems a reasonable price for a few satchels: Celox blood clotting granules - Chainsaw Specialists Does it have a limited shelf life/ any other thoughts?... cheers, steve
  8. I'm currently on a 25 litre tub of Husqvarna chain oil (it was on offer). It's very good quality oil, much better than the Oregon. cheers, Steve
  9. Have you considered having Kune Kune pigs for grazing your grass? Unlike sheep they won't eat your orchard trees.... Kunekune Pigs - DaleHouseFarm.com cheers, Steve
  10. Yep thankyou... that's the one: cheers, steve
  11. Thats a lovely heartwarming video. 11/10 What's that strange curling leaf? Good share Murray. cheers, Steve
  12. That's not something I've thought about 'til now. Probably because I use a proper saw. cheers, steve
  13. I'm starting to see the appeal of having a battery saw (with plenty of spare batteries) for small felling and snedding.... alongside a bigger saw running Aspen. cheers, steve
  14. Pants? .... it may be a hybrid.... a Turkey oak cross pollinated with another oak. Not nescesarily pants but possibly pants. It may also not be pants at all. Looks like it has a good section of heartwood...that's in comparison to a few genuine Turkey oaks that's I've felled / with very little heartwood (hairy buds are probably the best way to find out if it's genuine Turkey oak). cheers, Steve
  15. SteveA

    Lazy Oak

Maybe it knows something that the others don't. hmmm cheers, steve
  16. I may be wrong (often am) but isn't it advised to flip the bar after every day's work (or thereabouts)? cheers, steve
  17. That's excellent news! In all honesty I thought it was gone for good, (or should I say, gone for bad). Cheers, steve
  18. Were you using a Piranha chain?.... I had one hear the bar up the same colour along the edge, but it didn't wear anything like that!! cheers, steve
  19. Haha! Yeah that is so true. cheers, steve
  20. If he's grumpy (and young) now... what's he gonna be like when he's old? cheers, steve
  21. Thanks and yeah I'll call them in advance and maybe I should stock up on more. In long term it would far easier if someone stocked it closer to home / Haverfordwest. Cheers, steve
  22. That looks pretty darn good - made by RugGear too so must be well made. How much is that? Doesn't look cheap. cheers, steve
  23. My nearest dealer (15 miles away) ran out of stock on Aspen so I had to revert to pump fuel again. Result: The headaches have come back and got a snotty burning sensation at the back of my throat. cheers, steve
  24. I didn't notice you could get summer & winter versions. Wouldn't it be best to wear more breathable footwear in the summer.... like a pair of Jesus boots (sandals). cheers, steve
  25. That's pretty cool. Like that. Rather splendid. Nice one. Cheers, steve
