  1. trouble is ,the poppy sellers are getting older and dieing off.If you struggle to find a poppy box locally it would be great if you could volunteer a bit of time to the legion,as the next generation,my wife sells poppies around the doors as a tribute to her war dead.
  2. Did they let them go at low prices, couldnt they take em home
  3. It would depend so much on location of stack, shade, wind, orientation etc

  7. I have just felt the full benefit of community spirit after losing my daughter(28 years old mother of two)in a car crash. Hundreds of cards, kind words and support,to the point of the town virtually closing for the funeral. After telling my woes on here,i had over 80 messages of support,i cant tell you how much it helps! Tell us when the tractor run is and where

  10. Im not defending absenteeism(my word is my honour)but sometimes these type of threads degenerate into some kind of groundie beating exercise,i swear some of the employers on here treat their workers like some kind of lower caste.I think some of you deserve the crappier staff because of your high and mighty attutudes(im not talking about any one involved in this thread though) Anyone agree or is it just me?
  11. Anybody tell me about excess vibration when crosscutting firewood? People tell me the teeth are probably different lenghths and i should hold a file against them while the saw is running, but this sounds dangerous.
  12. MARKO When you say rhi of £3-4 a bag do you mean the bags in the picture? To answer the question about using the chunks in a log burner,we use them and find them good and hot.I am determined to heat my room without using any conventional firewood. Productivity is about 1 cube every 15 minutes when two men are chunking into vented mesh bulk bags. I feel bulk handling is the way if you have the set up.
  13. Welmac urban 110 forsale on ebay £5500 no vat 12 months old new price£7800 inc vat
  14. Anybody know the details for Powys county council tree officer.
  15. welmac sell these machines, fully legal. The biggest model cuts 4 inch thick material. They are usually at the apf show. Could do with someone making a boiler that is made with this type of fuel in mind, rather than straight 500mm logs neatly loaded by hand.
  16. Saw some tarp type things on ebay, they are the banner advertising signs as mentioned earlier.I took the number down[07850570001]but haven't bought any yet. They were only about a tenner for a ten foot by twenty foot cover.so worth a punt.
  17. can I ask roughly where you are in wales,i got just the machine for converting the brash and any material under 4 inch diameter into fuel, that would mean zero waste.

  24. ive got the bigger 110 version, works great, welmac were gobsmacked when a blade broke early on and replaced the blade without question.we tend to fill cubic metre bags for our own use ,fill in about 20 mins. I do sell a few nets at £4 but you have to keep the quality up ? I think the way forward is to use this type of fuel to fire your own boilers for rhi schemes.
