  1. I want to try this, what size wheel do you want to get the right hollow grind on TW150 blades? 150mm? Thanks
  2. Thanks Lovely bit of kit I'm dreaming at the moment... But do you know what the nose weight is empty? Unladen weight? And what is the max crane lift?
  3. Could an ifor be changed to be like that or is that crazy? How do overrun brakes work if the axle moves?
  4. Haha another thing I've thought the same! I'd say experience would be best the weighing things look expensive. This log was a touch under 3foot, that's a 14 foot bed(12 foot after the crane) so 14 foot long log. I make that 1.5ton ish at 1000kg per m3. It's ash not sure how far off I am! Crane struggles with that, had to do one end the the other. That's a Honda 5.5 I think Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Damn you're close. 275ish /1180. I thought about some ballast. But prefer the idea of moving the weight back when empty, so slide the crane back but don't know how you'd attach it... Don't like the idea of having the engine/tank at the back, it's nice to have the length and overhang the rear.
  6. Weight empty I meant Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Like that idea Recently bought this, anyone want to play guess the overall weight/nose weight?
  8. Has anyone tried 700 series red teeth? The green teeth cut fast enough I was just curious
  9. Yeah? Free chipper would be nice thank you mate.
  10. Something like a crane fed PTO, or mini digger fed tracked chipper needed for a day or 2 in Essex. PM me if you've got one please
  11. Only just seen this! That was a big stump. I was well surprised how quick and easy it was, even on that big stump. It made me buy one... I think it was bigger than 4x2 foot! My 36" bar only just went through from memory. The other selling point was the yellow grinder I had a demo of had done 180hours? And it looked and performed like new.
  12. And the even more exciting wheel removing Bandit HB20 narrow stump grinder. Removing outer wheels. - YouTube You'll need a 38mm socket for the wheels. You'll want 14mm open ended and ring/ratchet spanner for the green teeth, although maybe a 14mm socket fits? I've not tried yet.
  13. Martin. Here's the exciting video on turning teeth. Bandit HB20 stump grinder. Turning green teeth. - YouTube
  14. Love it! Who ever it was that asked, I've got 2 very boring videos- 1 taking the outer wheels off, and 1 turning/changing the teeth. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Might be able to help some of those answers a bit but don't quote me! Width 25" with outer wheels removed, 37" with them on. 385kg? Yes it's self propelled. Not sure, but deep enough! C
  16. Hi My feed rollers won't go forwards, they reverse fine. They do turn forwards for maybe 1/2 second after you press the stop bar, or the stop button. Would say to me the switch works, but the relay or something electrical is faulty? Any ideas where to look? Thanks Charlie.
