  1. So I've got a Superwinch H14W hydraulic winch I've got to work out how to fit at some point.... But can't find anyone who'll sell me a bumper to fit it! Any ideas? What do the utility guys use? Superwinch H14W, 14,000 lb (6334kg), Superwinch from PWS Engineering Ltd. - Old Wareham Road Parkstone Thanks, Charlie.
  2. Is it rated high enough for aerial rescue?

  8. Thinking of selling my TT85 as it doesnt get used much, and getting a 12x6 flatbed with crane or maybe bigger tipping trailer. Can't find many for sale at the moment just wondered what I could expect to get for it? 2010 I think, VGC, mesh side extensions, no VAT. I thought about £2500? I think the new version of this goes for about £4k with the VAT? Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Bit of a blurry photo, can't make out much. Any reason you can see why it might be moving? Honey fungus? Charlie. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. That's great thanks I don't think it's seen that much use? Guy I bought it off bought it new and hardly ever used it "it only cuts through softwood" which I think translates to he cant sharpen a chain! Actually thinking about it don't look at my chain! Was sharpened on site and needs depth gauges doing I think, then hit some metal on the last cut. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Nice to see her apart, didn't know she was 13 years old ! Hope it wasn't too much of a pain! Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. Try and wait until at least 1st of August for the Leylandii please, ideally later in the year Nesting birds... Hard to check for them in a dense Leylandii. C Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Yeah that's a funny way of getting stumps out but seems to work. Picking up whole trees looks a bit scary to me! Cool though Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. I remember being told at college, CS39 assessors might not always watch you but can tell if you're not using chainbrake when you should by the 'ting ting' noise, I thought it was normal Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. thanks Rob Um, either way, I bought a mill for this job but I've run out of time... Just be nice to see some of the wood used rather than burned! Think its 1 long straight bit of ash, 1 long straight bit of oak, and a short piece of ash. I take it sycamore is pretty useless for milling? All around 25" or so, maybe a bit bigger at the fat end. It's not a million miles from Stansted airport. Thanks, Charlie. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Need someone to help with some milling in Essex, 1 one 2 days with an Alaskan. I have big saw etc but have been too busy. If its not milled soon it will just go for firewood PM for details Charlie. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Thanks for that I actually paid for a rather expensive superwinch H14W with PTO pump etc earlier lol. Ill post photos when it arrives. God knows if/how it will fit onto my truck. Charlie. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. http://www.timberwolf-uk.com/documents/manuals/TW150DHB_Feb_2013.pdf Print that need a different one for your engine. In daily checks it says: check oil level and top up if needed (10w30) Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Looks familiar I should clean that out more often, that is filthy in there! Charlie. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. I love my BFG A/Ts but not tried the others so I can't really comment... Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Can't remember but I think it's 10/40 semi synthetic? Have you not got a manual for it? Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Mines about 5m3 too (if I got rid of the toolboxes and had a plain box). Problem with a 110 is finding a HD 3500KG version, and its easy to overload the rear axle before you reach 3.5ton. Another one of mine taken last year, inspired by today's weather... Been offered a band new unused (old stock) hydraulic superwinch, PTO pump, hoses etc for £1000. Needs a winch bumper, wire and roller fair lead to finish it. I am very tempted just feels a touch steep... Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. No problem. I towed that behind my L200 as my first set up, then moved to a defender 110 tipper and got myself a timberwolf. I kept the trailer for the bigger jobs but now I can tow 3.5ton I want the bigger ifor... Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. Photos of mine Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Anyone know the best place to look for hydraulic winches secondhand? Here's my 110 HD tipper. Ill put up a thread soon about it, as I'm changing the box on the back and it might be interesting for people to learn from my mistakes lol. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app
