  1. Well had an update on the wood today, all the nice millable stuff from last week was left in a field and when Pontrilas came to pick it up Monday morning it had all gone, about 5-6 lorries loads. Thats a serious timber fairy.
  2. Do we have a right as taxpayers to help ourselves to them?
  3. Haha  Definately agree with Rowan, get a tyre for splitting in. Your back will thank you in the long run and it will save you running up and down your yard chasing logs
  4. Couple of hundred thousands more like, your forgetting the ones that are chuck in all the rivers and holes
  5. Im not surprised were told they could take it, most of it was willow and you can only access it from the main road
  6. He might just be chipping all the small stuff, its worth a phonecall as it looks like a lot of ash and birch.
  7. Ah ok, that's good to know, cheers for that Scott. I thought it would be chipped, saw some mountains of it at the road side.
  8. Just wondering if anyone knew who is doing the tree work on the Heads of the Valleys between Abergavenny and Brynmawr? And are they selling the roundwood? Some nice wood there but I think its destined for the chipper.
  9. Ive seen some of your mods on the todays job thread, got to say I love your imagination Ian. Do you have a back ground in design and development?
  10. Great machine Ian, all you need is a processing head on there and you will be sorted

  12. Nope that was it Jon. Been melting all day and now its started raining. Nice while it lasted
  13. :laugh1: Yep fair point. Im guessing at over 800t you cant just be looking at just the local market, you would have to start delivering throughout the UK.
  14. The same way you gained customers in the first place, advertising, word of mouth and selling a quality product.
  15. Bang on the money! If you run a good business you will have your regulars, if you look after the regulars they will look after you. Any other sales are a bonus. And remember there's plenty of time for the weather to turn cold.
  16. Haha sorry Tom, Ill get my coat back on
  17. Rhododenron, but Ive never held hornbeam or holme oak.
  18. My searching skills proved to be useless, thank you Morten
  19. Hey, Ive looked in the manual for runnning a new 362 and all it states is for a few tanks only use the throttle lightly then use a standard. Just wondering whether you need to do anymore, as Ive heard on here you need to bury it full throttle into something big (for an autotune). Thanks
  20. Dont lie, the tree house is secretly for you and the boss for drink whiskey in Weird looking tree mind, we have a Scots Pine by ours that's nearly as messed up as that.
