  1. Hi mart hope all good with you buddy, that's a good price. By the way did you manage to find that number for me? Have a good new year and might see you at longleat.
  2. Landy I hope you put all that lovely long hair in a bun under your hat:thumbup:
  3. Hi Marc, I would say 4 to 5 mins. Once it's set up you turn the handle about 4 times. No lifting you just turn the handle and after one side Done you just take handle out put in other side and repeat, don't have to touch the chainsaw it stays were it is. Very simple and quick and chain is spot on sharp. I like it but it's cheap.then again it's quality engineering.
  4. I would take that statement with a pinch of salt they are carbide and will last a lot longer then a month.
  5. I know I hope they do as well. No I didt know. The picture had 3 different sizes and said £35. Obviously I thought that was for 3. Wrong £35 for one. O well deed done just have to use it a lot. Saying that it works really well and so easy and it gives factory sharp finish. I hear you say it should do for that price:thumbup:
  6. Yep saw it at APF great piece of kit. The files are £35 each you get one with each unit then you have to buy others separate. Got one for Xmas £135 free postage. There is one one e-bay at mo £135 with 2 files bargin, would have got it if didt have one for xmas.
  7. Know what you mean bout not wanting to give it over, got the same for my 2 yr old nephew but just gave him the chsinsaw, gloves and hat way to big, next birthday I guess.
  8. Would be good, free 660 with every bag, bargain:thumbup1:
  9. That's a bargain, did you buy more then one? If not you should have done. Always have a spare of everything.
  10. Hi Tony, did my tickets with ROLAND HEMMING. Seems a bit far to go down to devon but even with the cost of staying over its still fantastic value. Give us a shout if you at the ARB SHOW next year JUNE 5th & 6th at WESTONBIRT,TETBURY, GLOUCESTERSHIRE.
  11. Definitely and it's only hour and a half fom me. I live droitwich near j5 m5.
  12. Go on lantern website if you can't find anything I have a few numbers you can ring. But you will be struggling to match Roland's prices. He's a top trainer and his prices take doe beating
  13. You are life rich SKY:thumbup:
  14. You are already rich,DOING WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
  15. And if that's the case and you were self imployed you would have to go VAT REGISTERED.
  16. Far to interlectural for me:confused1:
  17. This thread has come full circle, at the beginning I said paying a foreman/ lead climber/ organiser/ good people skills person who represents the company on site should be on around £180/£190 a day. I didn't get shot down in flames but many disagreed with me. Glad you on sme wave length As me SKY.
  18. Priceless moments
  19. Had Xmas dinner with my mom for the first time in 33years. Left home when I was 19 and first Xmas dinner since, to save responding to another thread which is going at the moment, it was also my best present.
  20. Ya it's a good idea and then when done on the conies and it's still ok keep it for a bit of light rigging work. Kit is expensive so get good use out of it.
  21. Good call there Joe,looks like a lot are going to give the"BLUE TONGUE" a go. I'll stick to "YALE LIME LITE" don't like to follow the crowd. happy Xmas anyway Joe.
  22. CONIFERS they just ruin your rope. Get all dirty, sappy ect so don't go spending£120 on some nice rope and use it doing loads of conifer work. Look on e-bay and keep your eye out for some. Not sure if many have a separate rope for there conie jobs but I do and know of just a couple of others. Only a bit of advise.
  23. I use 11.7mm Yale "LIME LITE" with my spider and zig zag. 13mm "YALE XTC SCORCH "with my hitch set up for conies. If you can use your crap rope for just conies other wise it just gets ruiend.
  24. I just think every angle was coverd by who offered advice, sometimes certain threads run there course. Best of luck and like I said re- thread if and whaenyoufind your man or woman, you just never know
  25. Cause your a SAINT
