  1. Hi rich,no it won't and 11.7 mm works best in a zig zag. Now be told.
  2. Yep you can you can chip allot of brash etc in 40 mins. 3 to 5cu/ mtrs easy
  3. Get some LIME LITE then and your kit will be even better:biggrin:
  4. You on commission for selling BLUE TONGUE.? Still a dodgy looking word.
  5. Try YALE LIME LITE 11.7mm. And is sold in shorter lengths or by the mtr.
  6. Marlow are good quality. Was it in its plastic bag or lose? Can I ask what did you pay for it?
  7. It would have to be a lot closer for £50. You know it's never about the time it takes. It's the diesal.wear and tear on machine.taking chip away. And no disrespect to the guy asking but when ever anyone discribs a job it's never quite as it is when you turn up to do it. Always ask for a pic. It gives you a better idea of what you have to deal with.
  8. Between £50 to £80 . No more then £80 but definitely no less then £50.
  9. Was't cold Barry, cold, you don't know the meaning of cold, when I was on the Russian convoys the flame on my lighter froze.( uncle Albert) classic.
  10. It was't that cold and the fire was on anyway. Nice wording though. Think you should write a book.
  11. Books take an age to write.get published.printed etc. He's seeking work right now. Book can wait money in the back pocket is for now not tomorrow. Hope somthing crops up soon for you paul.
  12. It's just something else to put on your to do list which I guess you could do without. Ya always check insurance status then just makes it easier in the event something go's pear shaped, ya stable door and horse comes to mind. Anyway am sure it,ll work out in the end. Good luck and hope you and your mate get sort'd.
  13. Aaarrrhhh the old lending you gear out to mates problem. I know it's hard to say no when your friends and mates want to lend your gear and kit, it opens up a whole can of worms when the s-- t hits the fan.
  14. Not sure bout that, just have a play around and see what you come up with. Just keep is safe and simple.
  15. If you try it you have to push the crol up when your zigzag reaches it anyway so it a lot like a Prussic just less work, also you can use one handed after you get used to it. Give it a go. It works really well.
  16. Don't bother with an extra strop, just put a crol above the zigzag, attach a biner to bottom of the crol then put your climbing line through biner and pull. When you want to descend just detach crol and use zigzag as normal.
  17. Not if you put lime green laces in them.
  18. Ya he's only joking. Mk3 been out a few months now. My mk2 is fine and I know guys who are still using the mk1 and they are still ok.
