  2. Sorry good point. its about 40ft at a guess and I may only take about 10ft off .. just the very top.. thanks for the info ..
  3. Hi All , I have a silver birch on my land which has started rotting out at the base. I don't really what to take the tree down I will thinking of just take 15 ft of the top to reduce the load.. and see how it goes.. so my question if anyone can help is will the tree recover/grow around the top maybe even jump in to lift ( like a horse chest nut I did a couple of years ago) Cheers

  5. Thats is how it looks in the Picture. I can't wait to get one.. I held off after all the hype and then the recall. but its time now

  9. Love to know how the BLUE TONGUE worked with your ZigZag ? I am about to buy a ZigZag and a new Rope was told about the Yale Lime Lite ?
  10. I am sure its a great saw but I prefer to stick with Stihl i think.. never had a problem with my M tronic or used a screw driver on the MS241 in 2 years.
  11. Ok great thanks for the info...! . so you wouldn't mind taking the 362 on a smaller Job ? how you tried the 441
  12. also took my MS241 up a Walnut tree the other day as my MS201T was to small .. not sure I would like to take a 441 up a tree.. even low stuff
  13. Sorry typo . I was talking about a MS362 or a MS441. Mostly fire wood but I do mill up any good stuff, but I don't mind taking a little longer Milling as I don't do it all the time and I am a little worried about logging a big saw around the place if i don't need it ..
  14. Hi All, I have been very happy with my MS241 had it 2 years.. I now have a bigger tree to deal with so I am looking to get a new Saw to cover it and keep my on top of my land.. I was looking at a MS261 but It may not be much different. ?? so maybe a MS361 or Possibly a MS441 .. I look after my own tree's on my own land sometimes I use a Mill and it would be nice to have a 25" bar from time to time. but I am worried about the saw being a bit of a beast and being heavy to use around the place (which is why I bought my MS241 in the first place) . I also have a MS201T so could get a 14" for that to bridge the gap a bit but I don't need 3 saw's so I will not keep the MS241.. thanks
