  1. If it weren't for the one end being formed into a spike, I'd have said it was a door lifter. For taking the weight when fitting/adjusting/lowering household doors. Something like this: Maybe it is that, coupled with a gouging tool. For when the door is to be retained; but the old frame is to come out.
  2. Made me laugh - nice one!
  3. Been dry even sunny today but now it's back to comforting rain.
  4. Yep. Wondered why the saw was revving without a finger on the trigger. As to the rest - had a friend talking over most of the programme. But why on earth would he have fallen almost to the ground?
  5. Mild soapy hot water, (not boiling) and a scrubbing brush. Once clean, rinse with clean water and dry. Then slight lube with something like WD40; or spray silicone and let to dry before use; or PTFE spray and let dry before use. If after that, the krab still doesn't operate properly, it's time to recycle the krab and buy new.
  6. That's got to really suck!
  7. Was forecast for around 6°C but I was in short sleeves and still too hot. Working on a 60°+ slope didn't help.
  8. What sort of emails; ones of complaint; not willing to pay for delivery; offering decontamination, etc.?
  9. Got any contacts for a lass named Samantha?
  10. Distinctive but it's probably been sanded off or sprayed over by now. What's the reg. plate; assuming it's still in the country.
  11. Mild but wet outside. Not as wet as inside a friend's house though. Sadly they had a house fire on the wee hours. The FB arrived very quickly; and three tenders drenched the inside, (as is their necessitated way).
  12. Still raining but not a breath of wind. So lots of splashy noise but no howling. Either way, the cat isn't impressed. Wasn't impressed looking out the front door; and she was most put out, (not literally) to find it no better at the back door. She must know the two are connected by the outside world, as she'll go out one door and come in the other. But never seems to associate the weather out the front, with that of the back. Perhaps because there's different cat territories and differing scents. To her they're different worlds.

Lobsters live in salt water and can stand immense pressure. One of the few live animals, that cannot be transported by air freight.
