  1. I cut and joined some of mine on the old L20 , brother gave me a loan of a hand held flaring tool called a power hand , worked brilliant .
  2. 560xpg will cover you for most work and leave a 261 in it's wake.
  3. 365 all day , 266 is getting a bit long in the tooth these days , two part ignition is hard to find , they are a great saw though . On the 365 , the special is a better saw than the early straight 365 .
  4. No 5 for me , it is the only chipper I've had right enough
  5. My cocker still has his tackle intact , lovely temperament , he's never wandered or partaken in leg humping despite have sired two litters of pups .

  13. The youngster that works with us wants to buy a 540 , he wants to buy second hand despite me telling him to go down the new route and offering to let him pay me back . I know the early ones had quite a few problems , are there any bad years in particular ? I only have experience of my own one 2014 model which has been fine .

  16. 100% , I work to live not live to work . 5 days does me and I certainly wouldn't do it for 20/25k . Each to their own :confused1:
  17. I would steer clear of forestry , arb is the way to go in my opinion . After training getting tooled up costs a lot of money , and building the business is far from easy and the work is hard . But if you enjoy it and do a good job you're reputation will get you work . Good luck .

  21. Bfg muds on the work pickups , I was gonna try the cooper muds last change but chickened out .
  22. Don't have one but one of my mates has an ex sse one , he swears by it . Says it tows well / goes well but likes it's juice . I like the look of it and wouldn't mind one myself .
  23. I have a 630 that got fitted with a genuine 670 barrel and piston , used it for a short time then retired it in favour of a husky 272 . Came across it in the garage a couple of months back , put some fresh fuel in and it fired up and ran great . I believe you can still get them abroad
  24. Yesterday was murder and today is 22 @8am , gonna be a roaster, early finish I recon .
