  4. Hi Paul , Still down at the outlaws , hoping to get back to normal in the spring . Been busy jobbing about here though , doing three or four days weather permitting . Was home Sat and Sunday , walked from Blair to Bridge of Cally and back on Saturday , felt good . Sunday was a braw day Cheers mate .
  5. Bin pouring here since the end of November , I'm well behind with work , the outside logs are saturated too , had to invest in extra waterproofs , wonderful !!
  6. I've had three hi-lux's , never had any major problems with them . They hold their money better than most too .
  7. Same problem here , 40 mile round trip , id delivery stops it's back to mix .

  9. Seems to me young Connor doesn't know how lucky he is , there's not many firms that would have him at such an advanced stage in such a short time . Paul is always saying how well he's doing too . Good lads are always in demand and hard to find , so I'm sure he has something lined up , I hope it works out for him and you Chris , you certainly are getting it rough right now .   11. I've a jensen 750 , pull it with the hi-lux or Landcruiser , got a hi-ace van for the gear .

  14. I've a couple if Ifor's and had a few others in the past , I've always found them very good . Never had a James , look good though .
  15. 100% agree , my old 020 is still a stonker , and I've lost count of the repairs on my 200t's , don't mention carbs to me !! My 201 has been poor too . Been looking at the 540 , I can see one coming soon

  18. I treated myself to a new pair of pfanner ( red ) for Christmas , wife said to me you can't wear them !! The reply was watch me

  20. Thanks guys , I was only looking at them as I saw one when I was getting a roll of strimmer line at the dealers the other day , needless to say he was telling me how great they are . I thought it would be a problem to sharpen , I'll deffo steer clear .

  22. Hi All , Has anybody tried the Stihl Duro chain , carbide tipped . Sounds a good idea , but trying to sharpen it could be a bit of a problem , your thoughts please .
  23. Clarks cut and climb jacket , love mine and it's been rained on most days for the last few months ! Dunno about trousers though , I've a pair of Steins but I usually only wear them for dragging brash , never done any climbing in them .
