  1. And where am I in comparison? Not many round here! Therefore not widely available. That still doesn't cover dolmar... Although I wouldn't want one tbh, they look chunkier than Stihls, and they're boat anchors in comparison to huskys!
  2. I believe Niko uses Echoes, the problem with those 2 is, as I've said before, they aren't widely available in the UK, that and for some strange reason, the Germans seem to think that torque is more important than speed
  3. I was pointing out that it's a very low rpm for the torque band, it wasn't aimed at you, I just couldn't be bothered to quote niko as well!
  4. Who cuts on the torque band? Modern saws are meant to be fast! 6,500 rpm to reach max torque is almost as low as the old saws, but the clutches now engage and disengage at higher rpm
  5. Haha! That would be interesting on the 090!
  6. Like Stihl threads? Is the ms193 available yet?
  7. I have an NBC respirator, I'll be fine
  8. Hmm Portugal? Time to book a holiday!
  9. 581 10 07-01 for the carb, though I would imagine you're better off fitting part 503 95 90-03 and retuning your saw
  10. 8t .404 is discontinued, and very damn rare, trust me, I'm after a rim in that size! And regarding the bar, husky make them, but it's difficult to get the part numbers! They come in 14, 15, 18 and 20 inch bars only.
  11. It's funny you should question that, the guy with the 576xp was running .325 on a 9t, as the racing bars are, all but one, in .325 and d009 mount

    Tpo area

There you go, better to be safe in the knowledge that it isn't, than to wallop out the tree and find out it was!
  13. Same as at the APF, brilliantly!
  14. I'm guessing you're glad you gave the 560xp a second chance then josh?
  15. Pistons
  16. It's mike (tesgol off eBay) and I would highly recommend
  17. That's why I said might. Some saws are tuned poor from the start
  18. You might have to retune your saw, richen the L screw slightly and turn the tickover up a bit
  19. Yeah, but the Americans do a lot of frankensaws where they take the engine of one saw and fit it to a smaller saw, likewise I've heard of old dolmar cranks fitted to 090's to give a bigger displacement
  20. I doubt that could be done, the transfers are in the wrong place
  21. 0.3 mm across the power tool range, a card is about 0.25ish, so potentially will give a stronger spark
  22. Tbf so would I, the chain isn't exactly fast, and it weighs a ton! That is the old and new type AV, the old one with the bar over the top is no longer available, the one that looks like a brake arm is the new type. It's spring loaded and I do try to use it as a brake without thinking
  23. Sorry Martin, that's not a brake, just a hand guard, I have it on my 090
  24. Husky parts listings, if you look on the website, you'll find the IPL's. And it's up to you, running in with more power beds the saw harder.
  25. Quite possibly, I think the old mac kart saws were under 20k rpm and they go like scalded rats
