  1. If you fabricated a bracket and mounted it to the chain catcher slot, you could mount the roller-type catcher. Oh btw, your chain catcher is upside down, a slack chain will rip it off before de-railing in its current setup.
  2. Personally I'd choose the 3120, it may be heavier, use more fuel and have more vibration, but, it's a bigger engine and it'll run a much bigger bar. It also gives you a bigger choice to do milling. It also has a manual oiler!
  3. Yes, but you life span will be considerably shorter if you upset her!
  4. It won't make a jot of difference where the sale is made, Sweden is the hq. A 390xpg isn't available in the UK market, but I can still buy a heated wrap here. And complaining to hq will change things, husky UK is a hell of a lot more pleasant when people ring now (they're still about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, but more pleasant). Oh, niko, the large spline clutch is the one labeled as the 3/8 clutch drum in the IPL, I ordered the American drum, but when it arrived, it had the European number. But the 60cc huskies have always been confusing in that respect! Both the 357 and 362 have a double drum choice as well.
  5. Yes, the brand really doesn't matter (although it's worth noting that Stihl do a different size 3/8 file). No, not all spouts fit, certain Stihl oil spouts will not fit the husky 50cc pro range, but all other spouts can cross-fit. Don't bother with a stump vice, they're God damn awful, and pop out the stump as soon as you look at them, although if you knock them in deep enough that they don't, you'll spend 20mins belting it with something to free the vice. Wedges, you need wedges! Stihl high lifts are best, unless you operate a mill. Finally, with your name, I assume you're a woman, so, husky 346xp or 550xp, or a 353 or 545. Don't bother with the other brands, they're chunky, clunky, and in the case of new Stihl, absolute shite! Unless somebody can suggest a lighter (semi)pro saw?
  6. Niko, when I fitted the wrap handle to my saw, my dealer checked the parts ordering system, I called husky UK and contacted Husqvarna Sweden, I was told that the part was unavailable for the European market, if it's now available then they must have acted upon that request. If other parts are becoming available then there must have been requests for other parts of that saw. Hopefully the request for a jungle muffler will yield something!

    Slang!

    So a gully?
  8. Eddy_t

    Slang!

You should try hearing the accents! Although Scouse and Geordie are awful to listen to!
  9. As far as I'm aware, the wrap is unavailable in Europe, unless the rant to husky Sweden actually worked?
  10. Yes you do, leaving a gun cocked or loaded weakens springs, either in the action, receivers or feed for cartridges/rounds
  11. Do you maybe not think the increase in power (potentially) may be offset by the larger crankshaft and bar pattern? As for set up, either you mean part availability or fitting... If you mean fittings, the mounting plate/carb elbow is the same part number, as for availability, I'll ask husky directly on Monday
  12. What? Mines not the only wrap now?! I'll have to get the bigger top and filter and port it sooner
  13. 5 mate, also, it doesn't dissolve plastic parts

So out of interest, why do husky use an inboard on the 362xp, 365, 372xp, 576xp, 385xp and 390xp? All of which are more chuck-able than the 394/5xp and arguably the 357xp (I prefer the feel of the 362 over the 357). No other manufacturers use an outboard nowadays.
  15. Yes, I checked the parts lists for differences, I said them in another thread
  16. You don't know much about aspen do you?

Niko, you're talking shite again! As for the 550/560, they'd be even lighter if they removed the metal on the cylinder to give it proper ports, and even less if the muffler had a reasonable amount of baffles rather than the maze for fumes it is!
  18. Part number is the same, just filter and cover

All saws are a touch heavier and less power now, there's more metal on the cylinder and muffler. Gut them out to what the old saws are like and they run stronger!
  20. Yes, and yes, the 550xp is really choked stock!
  21. No! Don't cook it! It's already cooked enough!
  22. Jalapeños too hot? What a wuss! I think the English mustard may be a bit too strong for you
  23. It definitely is possible. FTR anybody who enjoys a spoonful of marmite is best avoided mustard is best served with ham or beef, I have heard of ex-pats who have the stuff shipped over in crates, although the best stuff is Coleman's powdered stuff, has a good kick to it! I'm surprised that you don't have it over there, with Americas love of all things insanely hot!
  24. Yes, English mustard is definitely hot Though I will say you tried marmite wrong. Spread it on toasted crumpets and melt cheese on top!
  25. 390xp, tweaked up it'll pull 36", and its 15cc larger!
