  1. You better get a fruit press and micro brewery, think of all that perry! 🍺🍻 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. You can spin it with a tirfor, if its completely detached from the base, wrap the sling around it (choker it first) and winch till it unravels, slacken the winch and re-wrap, do this until its free. You also want to try and winch it back at the same time, so at a 45 deg angle Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. It's BS about the clutch affecting handling of a saw, the distance is too small, what affects the handling is stihl's strato engines on these 2 saws is appalling, they should have redesigned them now they've got the hang with the bigger saws! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Guess Who

  5. Might do, it's only a short drive away, just if I can afford it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Now, now, girls! If you're gonna argue, do it on AS! And yes, all saw manufacturers lie about power and weight, and probably a good many more things! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Just distract her when you buy a new toy Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Husky provide the basic tuning settings ASSUMING you haven't removed the caps, but just google the carb model and you'll probably find the info Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  10. I service my bearcat chipper, it's easy enough, including sharpening the blades, engine repairs, etc Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Having checked rob d's site, he lists the d009 bar mount, so once again, the husky bars will fit Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. The info I have on your saw says its a K095 mount, so 90% of husky bars will fit Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. I would have thought after refuelling it would start with a blocked vent, cutting out after a vacuum was created Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Check carb first, then compression, then it could be the coil Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Channel 4

It would be far worse if it was real as everyone would panic twice as much Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. Check the bars for the stihl 090, it's the same mount Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  20. Well they definitely would NOT work like that in a contra, as the oil is level with the fuel tank, and further from the engine Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. I'll pm you a link Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. They say 'don't knock it till you try it', I've tried all the saws listed in this thread so far other than the ms362 and the 009, I recommend if you get the chance, try one of these new 5 series huskys, they really do go! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. A good saw, an average saw, 2 dustbin jobs, and I never got my 009 running, mikercike now has most of the parts from it Thought you had a 660 for a moment Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. There are few saws you can't get parts from stihl for in the uk, with parts readily available even for the 070/090, of which there is a job lot on eBay right now! And at the right time of the year, they fetch stupid money! As for a brake, I operate my 090 and a homelite VI944, neither have a brake, it helps adapt to the correct posture when operating, making sure you don't stand behind the damn thing, it's all too easy to put faith in safety features and become sloppy! Brake bands snap, so do chain catchers! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. A 261? Really? A 260 yeah! But a 261? You'd put him off the brand when he'd spent all his profits on needle bearings! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
