I've found 9/10 times nothing happens, other than you gain a log, had one at the start of the year that got plumb vertical, still had to pull it down! You can spin it with a tirfor, if its completely detached from the base, wrap the sling around it (choker it first) and winch till it unravels, slacken the winch and re-wrap, do this until its free. It's BS about the clutch affecting handling of a saw, the distance is too small, what affects the handling is stihl's strato engines on these 2 saws is appalling, they should have redesigned them now they've got the hang with the bigger saws! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
