  3. Hi rob What about 18inch 3/8 .058 for the 560xp in pro light.
  4. Hi. Am looking for a good haulier to move my forwarder got a couple of numbers but wondered if anyone here knows a reliable chap. Looking for moves around sussex and kent area. Thanks.
  5. It's common I've been through about 3 of those this year. It seems to happen when you don't use de comp whilst starting. Think they are about £10 to replace I did fleece my dealer for one under warranty. You can only ask to see there response.
  6. I can guarantee there is nothing wrong with my 560. As I said I've got 2 and all the guys who work for me have them and had minimal problems.
  7. I've had 372 560 and 576 and the 560 is by far the best all round saw. Light and bags of power. Unless I'm doing big oak or similar then a 70cc plus saw comes out. I run one 560 on 18inch 3/8 and it's definitely the preferred saw. I have another on 15 325 which is for sale. Check your pm.
  8. My dealer had had lots of problems with 372 xtorq won't idle right and revs don't drop on power off. I had a pre xtorq and was brilliant but when she died went to 576 and it's great. Will easily pull 28 bar and goes like a train. Will be interesting to see how it goes once I get it ported.
  9. I've had a couple of the solid bars and they are great. Much better than the Oregon bars. Seem alot stronger and don't wear anything like other bars. Strongly recommend.
  10. Got the 576 and 560 and the 560 will out cut the 576. It's a much better setup, picks up quicker and cuts faster. Had the 576 crank go on mine replaced under warranty with new carb but reckon its needs help to increase pickup,it's brilliant in big wood but apart from that the 560 is the better saw. Watch out the for the main gasket going and chain oil pouring out of the 560, mine went last week had to get another whilst husky fix under warranty. There is a recall bulletin about it and heavy duty gasket being put in. They look really different on the 2011 and 2013 saws.
  11. Best bet shave all your hair of and use a antiseptic wash that gets rid of lice so that might work.
  12. Still looking for a tree feller currently in oak coppice near Canterbury nice size for saw logs and firewood. Ideally experienced but as before will spend the time training the right person. This will be a trial basis but could lead to a lot of work as currently have approx 2000 ton to cut and extract before feb. Please call 07595290954 Thanks nick
  13. Hi all Got the 576 had it a while and used to go like a train no matter what size wood I cut. Back in March crank snapped and got replaced by husky, no pick/revs went back to dealer and new carb replaced again by husky. Got it back and seems to be again slow on pickup and low revving, sent it back again and nothing can be done by dealer as autotune carb. This carb can't be plugged into computer for reset! Any ideas for improving had thought maybe exhaust mod.
  14. The work is currently in north Kent Canterbury area to clear up the location, and will be mainly sussex and Kent. Cheers nick.
  15. Depending on the size Douglas is high value timber last august it was 68 ton roadside and up to about 24 inch Scots even as shavings it's minimum of 21. Would check exact market value with the likes of tilhill or euroforest before making a decision.
  16. Looking for a hand cutter for mainly firewood felling in and around south east. Must have minimum cs30/31 tickets and own saw ppe and driving licence. Experience a benefit but adequate training will be given to right person, must be willing to travel and work within a gang of 4. This is a self employed basis. Call nick 07595290954 but reception is crap or pm me.
  17. Haven't yet will give them a try as they do my p/l and e/l anyway. Just wanted a heads up rather nan ringing round.
  18. Seeing as roadside is anywhere between 38-45 a ton work your prices around that and offer what you can! If the landowner/agent wants more walk away.
  19. Hi all, As per title looking to ensure a forwarder any suggestions on descent insurer that don't mug you off over cost and pay outs? Cheers nick
  20. Hi all, I have both the above saws and are both very impressive but anyone ported either of them or see any benefits of porting them?
  21. Found a komatsu 840tx in the uk bit over budget but everything else is rare as rocking horse sh**! Any ideas on the quality?
  22. Have to be moving some serious firewood to make that pay. Maybe when I upgrade to another machine wf will be the one!
  23. Ac price found me this today but still over my price tag.
  24. That was a kesla electric control with a 2008 t151 valtra and 10t driven trailer and a winch. Knock off the driven gear and winch at its still best part of 90k+vat. Still waiting for Kronos price! That's the 6x6 model complete with timber bunk winch and clum bunk grapple! Its amazing kit if I could find a used one of these I would be happy but there nowhere to be found.
