  1. Currently have - 18hp machine, its runs 6 pairs of finger teeth. Past machines have always had greenteeth so im switching it over. Now.... I use to use an HB20 a lot which from memory had 4 pairs of greenteeth but had 27hp... Should i go for 4 pairs or 6? Rather than just telling me what you have on your machine Id like to know some thought and logic behind it! Can i even go from 6 to 4? I guess the spacing wouldn't work out?... Hmmm So 3 pairs or 6 pairs... waffling now. Oh and what sized greenteeth? But that would depend on the amount of pairs used i guess...... Just after ideas for the most efficient and cost effective tooth solution.
  2. When I had mine, I collected it inside a SWB van, so i know they fit. Might get lucky on Shiply if someone is heading in that direction, its easy to use and get quotes.
  3. Try Shiply.com You put in the item description and various carriers will bid for the lowest price to ship it, use common sense and it can be a good service. However... You can hire a small van these days for £25 a day or less that will return 60mpg plus. OR.. can the hopper /spout be removed? Might squeeze it on a pallet if so or a double pallet for sure.
  4. That video always amazes me Also that covers day to day things, the expected, throwing in a few GA infringements for good measure must lead to a stressful and heavy workload.
  5. £1500 would just.. with some haggling, get you a second hand Rayco RG13 which, in my opinion, would be better than a new Rock Machinery grinder. £1500 would be better put down as a deposit on a bigger machine.
  6. I looked at these options a few months ago, seemed the only real narrow access machine is the P28/38 or the Bandit HB20N (narrow).
  7. Grinders metal tank is awful inside, Ive got the tank off the machine. Soaked it overnight with some detergent which has bundged most of the residue but im left with a rust like scale on the inside. I tryed putting a few old nuts and bolts and giving a shake, which loosened a little. any magic tricks?
  8. Thanks, ill give them a call. To be honest Im thinking it would be a better idea to switch to an electric clutch, not sure what will cost or entail.
  9. I have a Dosko grinder fitted with an 18hp Kohler and a centrifugal clutch. Even at very low revs the wheel is spinning slowly but on occasion it will slow to a stop. I need the engine running to power the drive but its dangerous doing so with the head is spinning I took the clutch apart and all seems fine, as i say it does work correctly on the odd time i start it. Any suggestions?
  10. I know aldi do a 3 year warranty on all their stuff. Their all cheap at those prices so going to be a gamble.
  11. £30 is great with all the bits included, multi angle shots for a cheap price. 1080p is @ 30fps, 60 would of been better. Ive just preordered one to use as as second camera and for the kids to mess around with. 'Go-Pro like' Action Camera : National Geographic Branded Action Camera 1080p £29.99 @ Aldi - Hot UK Deals Detail on link ^
  12. THIS ^^ A chap at the flying club left his on the wing while refuelling, then proceeded to take off on a cross country flight... Used the method above and it gave an exact fix of where it had fallen on the taxyway. Hope you find it, ballache loosing a phone

  16. For the first year, £140 per year afterwards. Wouldnt it be about £140 per year under the current system?
  17. It isnt great and is overpriced, doesn't stop me buying it out of lazyness though. A lot of calories in those large Latte also.
  18. Both wrong, Jet boil wins I did see that video this morning, I think Costa did come back with a reply of sorts that made sense.
  19. We were out in it midday today in Suffolk sorting a windblown Spruce, Katie blew pretty well.... 50-55mph gusting squall, hail like pea shingle then moments of sunshine!
  20. The Echo pole is excellent, takes a saw head really well, infact best saw pole i have used. It is heavy as a result, hence im after something lighter for a nicer finish. Im not sure on the 4mix from what i read, expensive also.
  21. Im needing to buy another, I currently have an Echo 265ES, the big telescopic one and a Tanaka long reach. I keen to have another Echo or Tanaka, just wondered what others are using currently? Are Stihl all 4 mix now? Efco any good? As I say I really rate the Jap stuff, another Echo, albeit lighter, would be good.
  22. Happy to take on a full time apprentice.
