  1. Where abouts in the world are you Dave?
  2. AS per title. Looking for climbers and groundies in the Ipswich area Get in touch for more details Start ASAP
  3. None of the course mentioned above is difficult, just a fair amount of work to do volume wise. If my scanner was working i would upload some example scans, maybe HCC could send you an sample pack out via email?
  4. 2-3 days per week still available.
  5. Yes with a good chain its fine and in infact the 'goto' saw for ringing up. I think the 372 is rated to a 28" max, as you say, pretty much the same thing. Best bang for buck you can get imo
  6. Another Vote for the 365 here Mines on a 24" sugi bar, a pleasure to use. Bargin really for the cost of them
  7. 80 pages in. Think my brain is starting to run low on disk space!
  8. I have a post in the Members Only section, some aspects very similar to yours, worth a read its a few weeks old. Speak to customer services ( call them not live chat) and yes open a case.
  9. But.. did you get some free Haribo's?
  10. For some reason i expected it to happen at infeed roller speed.. slow... That really is an eye opener...
  11. "knew i should have deleted my browser history this morning"... Very lucky indeed, hope he makes a speedy recovery.
  12. As per title. Easy work, nothing technical, needed from the 22nd onwards. Get in touch if interested
  13. Any Otley/Easton leavers on here? Looking for an extra set of hands, ideally suit someone new to the industry wishing to learn and progress. Wouldnt be full time but should be able to fill 2-3 days per week to start with. Mixture of groundwork and if wanted, climbing. Ideally have CS30,31,38 (or whatever they are called these days). This would be on a self employed basis. If interested, or if you know of anyone that is, get in touch.
  14. Playing catch up with work at the moment and need another climber for some odd days towards the end of Feb and into March. Work is in Ipswich and surrounding areas. If interested PM for further details. Matt
  15. If its stated "Advertised elsewhere" then its fair game IMO, To be honest I ask most sellers before bidding/watching if they have a price in mind or if the auction is going to run to the end. I see your point though, if you dont like the fees, the dont use the service!
  16. Maybe so, but removing a listing with bids is a big n-no for ebay, they said they want bidders to be assured the item will finish correctly and not be removed. Needless to say, a quick rant on the phone and it was removed.
  17. This happened to me a few months ago when selling a landy, the highest bid was 1600£, so i got charged £160 in fees to end it early. Simple call them up, not live chat, phone them, tell them some story about it being broken and they will remove the fee.
  18. No, the 230 replaced the 150, sub 750kg machine The 190 is being replaced by a new machine, last i heard they had a working machine and it was being put though its paces, but that was October time last year. I imagine it will be out end of spring 16 but dont hold me on that.
  19. Schliesings will look old very quickly, that said great machines, more "planty" than any other chipper. What about the new Timberwolf, the replacement 190. Should be out in the dealer very soon Id imagine
  20. Well Done Johny. Anyone else currently doing the course via HCC? I have made a slow start, about 6 months ago infact, having done a far amount of OU stuff in the past I found networking with others to be most valuable.
  21. Backpack not an option? Cant beat one of the big BR blowers.
  22. I did consider that, and will be mindful when running for the first hour. Rad cap seems in good order. The leak in the rad was towards the top, it was up to 13 years old if original. The block would still of been at least 90% full of pure water ( :blushing:yes i know) That and the caps must of come off at the yard as if they had of popped while the machine was running (on site) they wouldnt of made the trip home on the bumpy roads being where they were in the bay. They would be been lost. Sharp frost and the plugs seemed to have worked.
  23. I have reused them using Hylomar a couple of hours ago, i must of predicted your post Ill run the machine with the side case off for the next few days to keep an eye on them both and the coolant level.
  24. £250 plus vat... Was a lot more than expected but i think they are £400 plus vat new
  25. Let just hope they did the job. I have built a few engines in the past and tinkered on hundreds yet never some across them! Cleaned them up sealed them in, should be good, Cheers
