  1. Bump, need to get this sorted (late notice I know).
  2. Win 10 seems to be well received, I like it. I have had some minor niggles with my rig due to drivers not seeming to like my overclock, 8.1 never had this issue. The links SR has posted above are worth a quick browse. But yes, go for it.
  3. Was always told that black is the hardest colour to keep clean from a car point of veiw, I guess dust is normally a lighter colour and shows up. Love the black look on the TW230 track
  4. As per title, Sycamore dismantle, Felixstowe. Light rigging PM if interested
  5. Climber Needed - Regular work - Ipswich 2-3 days per week min, more if your happy to multi-task. Must be - Self employed Fully kitted out with LOLER'd climbing kit +PPE Preferably climb SRT Good rigging knowledge Advantage - Own transport 4x4 or tow vehicle ( non signed or able to cover them up) Workload is mixed domestic / commerical. Excellent rates waiting for the right person.
  6. The ones on that Amazon link are new, The others on eBay etc for a few £ are second hand. No longer printed hence the 'new' copies are put up for an inflated price? Silly money
  7. Do it for free in return for them putting a flyer or business card with every order - "locally sourced from XXX company etc".
  8. Correct, although this one has been converted to tipper. Just wondering if the chassis, axel brakes etc are the same, should be a simple test and up plate if so?
  9. Does anyone know the differences between the 3200kg and 3400kg cabstars? These are both single wheel models, I know the double wheel is 3500kg. Looking at the 1999 - 2002 model. Id like to know if the GVW could be increased from 3200kg to 3400kg, hence wanting to know any differences. Thanks
  10. Top man, many thanks TCD. Ill give them a bell in the morning.
  11. Its close CJ but from what I remember, and looking at the picture, the holes are roughly equal distance apart on both faces.
  12. Nothing the right size laying about, id of thought the bracket was cheap, its just finding it.
  13. The 110 started off as a 3dr hardtop and now is a single cab, im after the seat belt brackets that fit underneath the lower part of the bulk head. First pic shows what im after, the two holes on the upright need to mate to the two holes on the bottom of the (white) bulkhead. Two of these brackets are needed, basically a right angle with 4 holes. All HiCap models would of come with these, Im not sure if the PDF manuals i have cover these areas or not. Any ideas?
  14. Roll bars on that setup at all?
  15. 420lbs/in for the rear! Now were talking. Price is good, think ill give it a go, cheers. Thanks for all the input lads
  16. I normally avoid BritPart but hey, they cant f~*k up a spring surely! Whats shocks did you use out of interest? Also does the helper need a fitment of some sort? Im guessing so, id need to source that also
  17. Just been looking at the BritPart springs ( cant believe I just said that), highest rate I can find is 330lb Did you add stock 110/130 helpers in? Can you even get aftermarket helpers?
  18. Standard height it is, make sense, thanks.
  19. Its a tipper, lugging chip, mostly overweight. I need the most stable solution basically.
  20. Id rather use standard parts (non OEM) and avoid a lift if possible. Anyone recommend some extra heavy duty standard height springs and some shocks to match? Edit - just looking to sort the rear for now
  21. Next stage on project landy is to sort the suspension... Currently sat on standard (NON HD) 110 shocks and springs and its awful, tyres rub on buck while cornering! Going for a complete new setup, YES I have read the many threads on this already but should i lift it? 50mm or so? More ride height above the bump stops, not much else i can think of?
  22. Thanks everyone for the input. A little out of my budget really, looking to spend about 450 including mask, gloves etc. Ah , I see, so, whatever i end up getting it would make sense to buy one with a min of 160amps? Other than the machine i list in the first post, any other recommendations? There are a few Clarke and Sealey jobbies at my local machine mart in the VAT free offer ( that they seem to have every week) Any good? https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/mig165 https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/205te-turbo-mig-welder https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cl-migwld-230v230tec Remember vat free offer
  23. This is major factor that i hadnt mentioned in the first post. Must be happy running of a 13amp household socket, I assumed the on listed above would be good?
  24. Need to pop my cherry and learn, set a budget of 4-450£ for a MIG. Asked on a landy board last night and these seemed well rated - MIG Welder | 240v Portable Inverter MIG Welding Equipment I-MIG180 Fits the budget spot on also, any thoughts people? Go second hand instead?
