  1. In my opinion, banter makes the day go quicker and team gel better. Suppose in this day and age you have to watch your p's and q's. Are Essex jokes still allowed.?
  2. Am after a freelance climber who can help out. Somebody who has experience, common sense and reliable please. Based near East Midlands Airport. Please contact 07971 571312
  3. Got the same problam with my iveco. Near side a bit weaker that other, when have time going to make a bracket that has suspension springs welded to it and then bolt that to chassis were the bump stops are. Think unloaded with stiffer springs there will be very little give and a bit of bone shaker.
  4. I did scream like a girl. At least your honest. Loads of wasps in the garden at the moment. Cant find the nest but am on the look out.
  5. Great video, really gets the hairs standing on end. Good to see some proper art and skill.
  6. Ah, the wifes chore list. Feel better now i'm not the only one who gets these. At times it is better to be at work than have to slowly tick the jobs of the list.
  7. Dear wife has added facetweet to website. Whilst rubbish Casualty was on the box have also done the like round.
  8. My first transit i insured with cis ( co-op) good price and only company to insure a 24yr old at a realistic premium. Admit tried this year with nfu, personal car over doubled in price and they wont mirror my no claims like insurance company do now, so stayed put. Funny how some have good quotes and some rubbish. wish you luck finding a good price.
  9. Try gardenkit of the forum. Great price, next day delivery and real friendly fella. Had a good chat with barrie whilst ordering and will def use again.
  10. Stuff that. Mrs wants to have children, think im going to get another springer to keep her happy.
  11. Sorry, but sleep like a baby. Missus went out last night, didnt hear her come in. Used to get only 4 hrs a night because of stress, work, money etc not anymore. Your health far more important. Bit of relaxing exercise before sleep will work wonders, if she up for it.
  12. Feel better now i know im not the only one who messes about at home. Bit of 4x2 over the loft hatch so i could try diffrent setups but the mrs caught me.
  13. Been member of basc, found them a waste of time. Local Police took ages to renew licence so was without one for a while and they were of no use what so ever. The Police make the law up as they feel fit. You can't defend yourself when assaulted as you have firearms licence as i have now found out. Dean, if i were you i would accept the help from the people that you know. They want to do this to help you as a person, fellow sportsman and friend to them. Don't let the tossers get away with it.
  14. I agree with more to the forces, we need to keep trident. Britain is a small country but we sit at the top table because of our special relationship with the states. This leaves us open, so we need the deterant because of this. Look at the falklands, 200 + soldiers died defending the islands, argies are making noises so what is defending the islands now, we have no carriers left. Stop giving aid to regimes and brussels and look adfter ourselves first i say.
  15. The jokes started coming through to mobile this morning. Had to look on the net to see what had happened. fella must be of his rocker more ways than one as she is a stunner. def rise to the occasion there.
  16. 10 days so far, 2 to go with local syndicate. Started of the season great with 100 bird days but wood has now been sold to woodlands.co.uk so the disturbance has ruined the rest of the saeson. So unsure Agree with what has been already said about feed. wheat has not been that good so birds have to eat more, we were way over budget with feed because of this.
  17. Adam, please carry on with the thread. As what has been already said, it is the small minority that like to pick an argument so spoil for the rest. Also waiting for the lowering thread to be started again, another good piece from yourself. Keep up the good work.
  18. Thats it rub it in. 4 weeks and counting until the yearly holiday to Pitlochry, usualy have a drive upto glenshee and then down to Braemar. Stop and have some Lunch in the wee cafe on the left. Just about freezing here in the midlands.
  19. First thing that came in my mind when mention of the apache, was a picture a few years ago when pilot landed to pick some stranded soldiers, they strapped themselves to the wings or whatever they are called. True respect, can't remember if they were american or brit, but doing that must have been british.
  20. Bring it on. Love the snow, shall see if the mud terrain tyres stop the truck getting stuck.
  21. Your not the only one. In my good old trucking days, used to get past regulary on the a17 towards Kings Lynn by young lads in there tweeked up jcb fast track c/w artic trailer and bogey. Had to be 21 to get HGV licence and some of those lads in the JCB i dought were old enough to vote. So surprised there wasnt more carnage.
  22. Good on you. Keeping fingers crossed. Sometimes, its not what you know, but who you know that gets you the job.
  23. Was like watching an episode of casualty. You know what is going to happen before it does. oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
  24. Parkhill training provide all kit needed. Climbing is on site also so tea and biscuits are always available. They are based on the a46 between bingham and Leicester. Now the a46 is dualed it will be a peice of cake to get to. As has been said it will be a lot of coin to shell out if your not to keen.
