  1. Ok it could have been worse....the bog could have exploded!!! And yes I think the saw was running when it hit the water! And it gets better the pub is only 25 yards from my front door so I don't need to drive....however not sure I should go as I could get hit by a car whilst walking there!!
  2. Really....... I could have predicted that response.....still I'll go with that!!
  3. I'm having a bad day.....started off climbing the planned 80 foot ash only to find large pockets of rot and included bark so that can only be done with a platform!! its over fiber optic cables and protected fruit trees so was planning to lower it all! Still resurrected the day by doing a small conifer for the client only half way through my little AMA pruning saw's carabiner securing clip snapped and the saw fell 20foot ......into a stream!! Now it doesn't want to start and I cant get it to spark! Then the client decides he hasn't got cash as agreed previously so I'll have to have a bloody cheque! And to top it all I was just sitting on the bog telling the wife all about my rubbish day whilst she had a shower and the friggin toilet seat broke in half beneath my ARSE!!!! Now do I continue trying to fix the saw or give up and go to the pub before something else happens!??
  4. Vinny's a French Mastiff crossed with a Bull Mastiff hes great with kids, cats and other dogs but doesn't like strangers in his garden!! I've had to reinforce the side gate with marine ply as he hits it so hard when anyone comes up the garden path, he put his front feet straight through it twice! it was homemade with closeboard featheredges now its got a sheet of ply on the back!!

The tablets are called telfast 1 aday work well, eye drops sorry cant remember the name couple of drops then no eye issues and the nasal thing as and when.! costs me £21 a year in prescriptions but I can work issue free, so go see the quack sooner rather than later.

  20. My wife who is 5'4" and 9 stone found the most important thing when chosing a saw was the distance between the top handle and the chain brake due to having small lady size hands!! Some of the bigger saws she found it hard to get the chainbrake on smoothly and more importantly quickly she settled on the husky 346 which she loves! 346 all the way!!
  21. As the header say's I'm looking for a fully skilled and confident climber for work on an as and when needed basis, I've decided to change the way I'm working this year as things were abit busy last year and it took it's toll on my aging limbs. Decent rates for the right person, must have your own kit. I'm based in Stroud Gloucestershire. PM if interested.
