  1. if that's the case Ben, then the utility guys will at least do some of the work to eliminate that risk , for free:thumbup1:
  2. have you ever been hand balling some timber over a roof, going to throw it clear of the roof and half way through the throw it gets snagged before you have let go. Its to late to abort the throw and with great frustration it hits the roof. Its happened twice I can remember, in 20yrs.
  3. Rowans, fruit trees all branches heavy with fruit - I blame the cold spring
  4. from the topic title - I thought you had a chainsaw problem
  5. beech coccus - washing up liquid will sort it - brush it on - cant see bb disease from the pic but it can arise from the beech coccus infestation
  6. back on topic - we need a photo or two - + how good is access, percentage of reduction, targets to avoid (potential damage), arisings left on site or removed. You could do it the easy way but not the best way - tell the client you charge £30.00 per hr per man. hope this helps

  17. wound paints have been proven to do no good - however if youblow torch the wound this will kill any bacteria and tree slugs, which are the main causes of decay in trees.
