  1. hi i would think with being quite new saws there wont be a pool spare parts for the 550/560 yet may be an idea is to ring round different dealers and see if anybody can do it cheaper for you maybe an idea is dick leigh in lancashire is not bad for price and he posts hope that helps
  2. hi Dan have had a 480cd and was not happy with a 24 inch bar so stuck a 20 inch on it and it was as happy as a pig in muck put the 24 inch bar on a jonsered 2071 and what a ruddy beast that is 480 is a old low reving lugging saw that will just keep going what ever you put in its way hope that helps albert

  4. hello markm i have the 16 inch 291 and a very nice mid range saw fairly light and powerful also have the husky equivalent the 455 rancher which it is very similar to have cut 18/20 inch logs with it no problem hope that helps

  8. hello guys i think if you are going in to this the secret is quick turn round espicially for those who use there tools for there living the quicker they get there tools repaired the quicker they can be out making money as am sure most will agree they dont like downtime so if you know someone or somewhere that will fix it in 3 days rather than 3 weeks who are you going to take your stuff to also have to do a decent job and not be a ripoff

  11. hi guys have a 2040 turbo jonsered just the same as 2036 a nice little saw with a 14 inch bar on it light and easy to use alot of parts same as husqvarna 141/136 be a nice saw to get going and keep for little jobs
  12. hello all if i can make a surggestion go and see the police first explain to them what the vehicle is being used for and see what they say first a friend of mine use to run a 7.5 tonner with no tacho and operators license because he wasnt transporting goods for money maybe this will point you in the right direction

  18. hello there the 395 as a rim sprocket that will be held in place by a circlip on the end of the crankshaft all you need is to change this hope this helps albert if at first you dont succeed sod it and put the kettle on!
  19. hello guys have you checked to see if it as an adjustable oiler that you can turn up and down there is usually a little screw with an arrow either pointing to a - or+with this is turned down it will only use a small amount of oil? this may help albert

  23. hi predator i change spark plug once a year the bearing should be changed when the sproket or rim is changed also you can put a few drops of oil down the the clutch housing to lubricate the bearing if you want too that is what i do hope it helps]thanks albert if at first you dont succeed sod it and put the kettle on

HI GUYS i have a 2004 346xp that apart from general cleaning a spark plug a year and general chain and bar changing as had nothing ever done to it in all that time some times it wont get used for 2 or 3 months put fresh mix in it 2 to 3 pulls and shes away a very reliable old saw you know what they say the complicated the plumbing the easier it is to stop? up the drain ? so do you go for newer but cant fix yourself or older self fixable this is just my thought on it thanks albert if at first you dont succeed sod it and put the kettle on
