  1. I'm selling my Navara, D40 engine. 55 plate. It's up for 4.5k. 155,000 miles with part service history. In good overall condition inside and out but has the usual age related marks. Inbox me for more details.
  2. Evening all, It's been a wet day down in sunny Dorset and the fire has been lit. I've been wondering, (I know it's never a good thing to do!) Basically, I know that on a biomass boiler you can burn woodchip, but was wondering if you could burn woodchip on a log burner? Opinions please people!
  3. How about setting up a 5c caravan site? £10 a night per caravan/camper and then £6/£7 for a tent. Some of them you don't even need to supply electric, a toilet or shower etc. Literally just someone to park it for a night or however long!
  4. I'm sorry you didn't win the job, but it sounds like it's for the best seeing as you didn't have the adequate kit etc. Just out of interest what did you quote? And I'm glad that your now winning most of your quotes!
  5. Great advice. How did you do the job in the end then? Did you use roll on roll off bins? How many days? How many men? What kit did you use? What was your price? Was it enough/adequate for what happened? Just interested.
  6. Morning, please pm me with your location. I may be interested in some of the kit. Thanks.
  7. Good night there last night. Soooo many gypos though!
  8. Probably heading over there Saturday evening with the Mrs and some mates Was a good crack last year.
  9. I often don't bother with a waterproof anymore. I usually just take two or three t-shirts and change them at break times. Your skin is waterproof!
  10. Started tipping it down here again now. Was raining since 12 am and woke me up at 4.30. Very windy and wet where we are. Flooding everywhere but we live rurally. I live in Wiltshire now.
  11. How about a Vermeer Skidsteer?
  12. I know that there's a lot of people doing it on the Facebook selling sites. Including ones in our remit of work and within the motocross racing world! Keep your eyes out everyone.
  13. Very nice! I bet there's a huge price tag on it though!
  14. Hmm sorry to hear about that 4 yrs ago buddy. Hope you have all your gear locked down and bolted now. Everywhere's gotta be like fortknocks now! All the best and thanks for the heads up. There's all too much going on recently.
  15. Thanks for the heads up. I'm not too many miles away in Wilts.
  16. Welcome to the forum. If you would be willing to travel to Salisbury I am more than happy to offer you a couple of days work labouring, I.e. Dragging and feeding the chipper. PM me if your interested. Cheers
  17. Give me a shout mate. I run a Tree Surgery company based in South Wiltshire, but cover Dorset and Hampshire as well. Good rates of pay and accommodation if needed. Cheers
  18. Absolutely Pete... It's horrible. A friend who.had his gear stolen yesterday... They smashed the window into his tipper, grabbed the gear and then slashed his tyre before they left. That's even lower than low! Absolutely disgusting how people could even consider doing it.
  19. Eggs, we had that today near Bournemouth. It was a scrap metal, white transit van. Drove past and had a look and then came back about 30 mins later... Scared them a little when they noticed that we were still sat in the van!
  20. Sorry to hear about last week Pete. Terrible Have you had any luck with any recoveries? A friend of mine was done yesterday in Milford on Sea, New Forest way.
  21. That's the 3rd robbery someone I know has had within the last week. Absolutely terrible. Makes you wonder why we bother!
  22. Sounds like quite a good idea. I've thought about it before. How many times will your advert be played per day/week etc?
  23. Does Sonya tackle you then Jon?
  24. Hamdogg, we're building a 100% self sufficient Timber framed house.
  25. Found several for the right money thanks Timbernut, but it was too far from my misses work and she doesn't really want to drive any more than 45 mins a day/each way.
