Afternoon all, I am currently entering in to self employment after 22 years in the military, I have gained some work experience with a local firm on and off for the past 8 months and am after gaining some more experience with other local firms. I have Cs 30/31/32/38/39/41 Brushcutters/pole pruning/stump grinder/ chipper and mewp operator, spent most of the time as a groundy and felling but have done several dismantles, crown lifts, dead wood etc. need more experience climbing but am willing to learn and take direction. I am an excellent timekeeper, smart and bring good banter. Any help appreciated.

  5. Thank you for this info, there is about a £2000 difference in cost between courses, and I was not really sure exactly what an employer would require, thank you for your help
  6. I have an opportunity to do either the Kingswood tree surgeon cse or the Pro Climb cse and was wondering if anyone has completed these and has feedback, the Pro Climb also offer Cs 32 & 40 where as Kingswood don't, are these a massive show stopper or is Cs 30,31,38,39 enough to get started, i am just finishing in the military and am looking at it as a new profession. I understand courses are no way experience and will start at the bottom, I will be settling in S Wales and hoping this will work out !!! Any ideas or help is greatfully appreciated.
