  1. My parents have a Shogun for their caravan caravan. Comfortable ride, okayish MPG, been very reliable, I would recommend one. :-)
  2. Yep, I agree... All of my friends are paying £2000+ for old cars. It's blooming ridiculous!! My girlfriend is paying £1400+ for a Ford Fiesta 03 and that's with a stupid black box!
  3. Been looking at a few different tippers, including Transits, Cabstars and LDV's... All the insurance quotes seem to be £3000+!! I am only 19, but my Navara Aventura is with Aviva and they wouldn't quote me Who's everyone else using? Cheers
  4. Thanks mate, well yes that's what I'm thinking. It couldn't have happened at a worse time really, right before Xmas! But hey ho, these things are set to challenge you! Best wishes with your shoulder buddy, I hope you recover soon. I know the exact feeling about the TV! I've had enough of Jezza Kyle already! Take care.
  5. Thanks Rich, I'll take a look at the knee brace. Glad to hear that you can still do things you enjoy like snowboarding etc.
  6. Ouch, sounds painful buddy. Speedy recovery!
  7. Hmm, I'm glad you managed to get it all done. Yes, well I attempted to go for a walk (more of a hop/hobble) this morning but decided against it due to the frost!! I'll try again in an hour or so!
  8. Ah shiz, you'll be off until the new year now then I'm bored as hell already, I live out in the sticks so can't go anywhere as not allowed to drive at the mo. Just want to get back to working! I bet you feel the same?
  9. Not 100% sure how I did it, but I put it off from going to hospital and carried on working for 3 days (until the missus came back) and then I was ordered to the hospital! Sat in A&E for 4 hours on Friday night surrounded by drunks! That was worse!! Paul, ouch, doesn't sound very pleasant. Hope you have a speedy recovery. How long will you be off for?
  10. First day off work, its only 10.50 am and I'm already itching to get back to it! Unfortuntly it won't be any time soon though Went to A&E on Friday evening, after barely being able to walk only to find out that I've torn the ACL and have cartilage damage in my left knee. On crutches for a minimum of 4 weeks :( Hey ho, life goes on... Just gives me loads of time to read arbtalk and create my new website! Hope your all in better stance than me - enjoy your week and take it easy lads & lad'ss!
  11. Evening all, We are on the look out for a Tracked Cherry Picker to hire. The jobs (2) are in Dorset. Must be a minimum of 21m reach. If anyone can help, or knows of anyone whom has one please get in touch. Thanks all and enjoy your weekend! Will
  12. Facebook and Twitter page?
  13. Sign written truck/vehicles and the Internet, in my opinion.
  14. Was just about to inbox you. Who did you get to do it in the end?
  15. A total surprise! Love them
  16. Hammering it down and strong winds here in Dorset. Just did a small private job, felling a conifer hedge. Finished within the hour and now home and sat in front of the woodburner
  17. We have a TP200 mobile turntable and it's the best chipper I've ever used... By far!! Highly, highly recommended!
  18. Hi all, I'm free tomorrow and Friday, as well as next Thursday and Friday if anyone is looking for an extra pair of hands. CS30 & 38. Full, clean driving licence and own transport. Own PPE. Two years full time experience. Please PM me if you are interested. Many thanks.
  19. Cheers John, much appreciated.
  20. All sorts John, laurel, cherry, leylandii, oak... A big mixture
  21. Evening all, I appreciate it's short notice but always worth a shot! We are working in Sway, Hampshire this week (Tuesday-Friday) and looking for somewhere to tip woodchip. We don't want anything for it, just need to get rid of it, and as were not familiar with the area we don't know anywhere which will take it. If anyone knows somewhere or would like some, please get in touch. Many thanks in advance.
  22. Nope, a twin axle trailer full of rings and lengths of conny. It's the same towing the stump grinder on a 6x4 trailer with a large pedestrian grinder.
  23. Defiantly the Navara! My first truck was a Mazda B2500 but now have the Navara Aventura with all the toys. Really nice drive with about 34-38 mpg and about 33 towing. Non chipped. Very much like driving a car, and wouldn't have another make of pick up. Thumbs up from me and the misses!
  24. I tow in the right hand Lane with my jet ski, pulled by the Navara. I only do it to overtake though. Never been pulled, yet!
  25. I know you have said no to Apple but I would defiantly go with the iPad! Not helpful but yeah!
