  1. On my bench in the kitchen is my lunch for tomoz. Home made granary rolls. Just need filling. Mmmmmmm Had two already, still warm so the butter melted.
  2. JUST FELL IT :lol::lol: You know what that means. Just a thought to the op. has the saw actually seized or ha s the clutch overheated and stuck on making it feel like a sieze??? There is something very very dodgy about the grinding bit I'm afraid and its starting to make me suspicious......
  3. That weird. The parts lists I have for the fs200 don't have a torsion spring....strange.
  4. Yep the ms200 flywheel is different. It has fixed studs for the pickup and movable ones on the recoil. The later 020 saws are the same as the 200 but not the heavy metal ones. What your after is a torsion spring. 0000 998 1104. Sadly obsolete for this saw, but maybe able to get creative with some other springs off another saw or machine. Will be a case of looking.
  5. Sight drail. Dave what's the job tomoz. I know you phone broke.
  6. That's a first for me. Never heard of grinding a bar to suit a chain. The chain suits the bar and visa versa. You buy the chain that suits the bar that suits the sprocket. So even if he did grind the bar to suit a chain the chain may not suit the sprocket. The seize could Down to a lean mix. Not sure where he got overheating from. This only really happens from a gunked up cooling fins/flywheel area. Or a lean running engine. Where abouts are you located? Could be someone local who could give some advice to you. Remove the exhaust and get some pics up of the piston looking through the exhaust port on the saw. Unless its already apart. In that case get some pics of the cylinder barrel and piston.
  7. The pump on these saws is really easy to see if its gone. You will see when you pull it out. Yes the handle is just a case of man handle it off. Removing the chain break handle does help a bit. Pm has been sent bud.
  8. When I win the lottery. And the other half agrees. And for an annual road tax bill of £2500 in the uk it will have to be.
  9. Down the local marine shop a hand winch with 30m cable is only 19.99. It's only a 900kg rated one it ore Han enough.
  10. Will do ted. I'm will get as many as I can on the iPad. Not sure about vids as it will mostly be on the iPad. Will make sure the camera is fully charged each day I'm there aswell. The last show I saw the German tank used in saving private Ryan was there. Speaking to the driver he said Tom hanks was scared about blasting the Thomson into the driver window. Driver said it was defenning.
  11. Of course. Check out the events page. Always something goin on. What's On - The War and Peace Revival ? The Greatest Gathering of Military Vehicles on the Planet
  12. I must say ted it is a fantastic show. Is a bit pricey to get in. But worth it if your into the military stuff. Just a good chance to see something different. And it's a really good learning curve. The only problem I have is going past the de activated weapons tent. I had to be dragged kicking and screaming by the missis last time.
  13. So its coming up. War and peace show, used to be in paddock wood, but this year its in folkestone race course. Is anyone going. Been a few times in the last and its always a good day out. Lots to see and do. I'm going there this year with the lifeboat. Welcome to the War and Peace Revival - The War and Peace Revival ? The Greatest Gathering of Military Vehicles on the Planet
  14. +1. Sorry but you have no idea of the person or what they are like. They could be anyone. Ok so there email is a little it annoying, but have to take it at face value and reply in a professional manor. Then just forget all about it, or don't reply at all. My response would be professional, had one customer before asking why his chain (blade he called it) wasn't cutting. He brought it to me and he chain was on backwards. My response was to not just stand there and laugh but fix it for him, didn't charge him, laughed my backside off on the way home in car. He has currently always come back for his tools to be fixed since....
  15. Ok just looked at the manual. These oil tanks just pull out once the handle, tank cap and sart assembly. The oil tank pulls out and the oil hose comes with it. It's held into the bottom of the crank casing by push fit. Just pull the tank out slowly and look for the pipe. When the pipe is out bend it and flex it while checking for cracks. Could also remove the filter from the pipe and blow down one end while holding the other end closed with a finger. See if air is lost in the pipe. My first call anyway.
  16. If you are getting air bubbles from the oil hole there is a hole somewhere. Be it the oil hose from tank. But havnt looked at manual yet to see where it is. The oil should be a constant stream from the hole without bar on. If its not there is something wrong. Have you adjusted to max oil?
  17. Thank you. Yeah been really busy and got a load of pictures to put up on there and more descriptions. Just need to get on with it.
  18. I've thrown loads of like out there but havnt got any back........ Sod the lot of ya...
  19. You know, I actually like that. Maybe on a stumb in your own back garden. Choose a nice day and you cold put a grate over it all and have a nice cook up while its burning away. Maybe even half a pig in foil thrown in for good measure....... Mmmmmmm I'm hungry.
  20. I've got to say that the first time I tweaked a 200t it scared the poo out of me. Was grinning from ear to ear. Nice job Steve.
  21. This is the video I was watching by the way. Makes it look easy. YouTube
  22. Right. It does make sence once its done. The only thing is on mine the core didn't go to the ende as such. Look at the bottom of the pic and where the splice starts. The is no core. Now would this be because I didn't go deep enough when finally pulling the fid through? Do I need to go deeper into the working end?
  23. Yeah don worry, its not for climbing at all. I'm good at critisising my own work. If you look at the bottom part of the loop and splice there is no core there. Like I said I was playing around with some rope at the station. First time I have ever done braided rope. Sone 3 core and the like for the boat. But this was a challenge alright. Best parts as two other guys where trying for the best part of he afternoon to get even close to a loop. I watched and done this on 15mins without even trying. I had the right tools. Just needed to try it, some parts are very confusing. I do have a few questions but they need to be answered by someone while doing it.
  24. Had a bit of spare time today down the lifeboat so decided I would do a splice. What you rekon?
