  2. Good to hear the appropriate ppe is being worn:lol:
  3. Depends, what are you pulling it with, what size timber are you putting on it, is it going down a highway, suspension or no suspension, drawbar hitch? What steel have you got to work with?
  4. Found quite a few digging hawkinge housing estate, had rlc there 24,7. They were big, from the old airfield. Also found pipe bombs, laid all over airfield if we ever got invaded it would render the field useless for german planes.
  5. Is that what you told plod???.
  6. That is always down to experience, but in the current elf and safety climate we are bound by them, who would you rather have dig a hole, a 70 yr old that has worked machines all his life with no ticket or a new guy just out of the training centre, you would want one person ins and hse would want the other.......
  7. Could get one of those steam powered saws I keep hearing about.
  8. I am I got welding grinding, tractor license, chainsaws, forklift (all types) CPCS. Oh and I got one for getting out of bed on the right side.
  9. Well I'm totally messed up then, I'm t total, yes that's right I use chainsaws and do unbelievably dangerous things all day and I don't drink....
  10. Yeah somehow my iPad has learnt the word tump instead of gump. Lol
  11. Except for the need to charge them in a forest. Just going to plug my charger into that oak tree won't be long. Lol
  12. Yeah do that, Only ranting on here as we done one today and the customer said that we should be extra carefully as her strawberries were in there and she didn't want the frost to get in there, had to walk away muttering about it. Just gets me that they put them under a tree in the first place.
  13. Hate them, just takes the smallest knock and away goes the glass.
  14. Why do people insist on putting there greenhouses under trees. Obviously the tree will need cutting at some point so put it elsewhere. Or they will moan the tree is stopping the light from getting thro. Rant over. Lol
  15. You have to learn to run like forest tump itch those spikes on. Lol
  16. Sound still on iPad. What helmet you got on? Nice vid I recognise the place but I can't put my finger on were it is?
  17. Love the way he uses his foot to push a bit in............ That is stupidly quick, sounds like its run on an old tractor.
  18. Felt it. Or what I thought was a hawthorn thorn in my leg under the kneecap, went to brush it off but looked done and the syringe was hanging from my chainsaw trousers. Think I couldn't have moved fast enough to the van, took the needle with me, apparently I was very lucky and what had me worried was the needle looked new, no rust on it. The docs did say that HIV and hep b do die off quick as its been said but with a fesh needle I effing panicked. There is no need to be worried, it's a one in a thousand chance of anything happening, I just don't go crawling thro bushes without acting like I'm mine sweeping with a stick. Lol
  19. Had a needle jab me a year back. The test took 6 months. Felt like a lifetime. Hate the dirty scum and hope they all get what they deserve. Needles can be a problem and I now always check we're I'm working no matter were it is as you never know.
  20. Could be the top of the chimney, are the pots ok, has it had any mods in the past.
  21. I say bring back the axe and two man hand saw. Should be fun and make a job last longer.....
  22. There's no way I'm hauling a v8chainsaw about. Lol
  23. Hey if it don't work I'm sure it can figured out as to why and what can be changed to make it work, there are plenty on here that would be able to help.
