  1. Let him cut his legs off, dought he will last long, has he actually got a way of getting the timber out of the wood? If he gives his saw over and asks if you can fix it throw it in the bin and give him a sthil or husky catalogue.. Done that before. A person cut his leg half off on a job my boss quoted for, he has up a ladder with no ppe on at all. And on ladder not even tied into the tree. Just cutting and letting it drop. Can't say the name on the van as I think he is still operating in area (well someone is doing his work coz he not really getting around much) I was shocked to find that you can buy almost any saw without a ticket, but then how can you monitor it with the likes of eBay. It's easy for b and q and the other stores. Seen a few muppets doing stupid things with saws and I just turn and walk away, there no way I'm going anywhere near a train wreck like that.
  2. The american system is for short term? I think it works so long on benefits then it stops if you haven't found a job then tough? Think that's how it's done?
  3. LMFAO, the potatoe was cooked before work just reheated with some butter. It was a row of conifers about 300 yards long on industrial estate that had got out of hand, cherry picker on hilux, chipper on tipper just moved along so the chipper didn't get stopped for two days. One of those easy jobs that you have to remember when the jobs in a back garden with a long walk come along. Lol
  4. Question six is a toughy, had to wait for the missis to look away then scroll down a bit lol. But done
  5. Some sarcasm there but I think it would work:thumbup:
  6. Now now kiss and make up! Or is that how it got passed in the first place LMFAO only joking chaps don't take it the wrong way.
  7. I live in a council house but I pay my rent and tax. Was on benefit once in my life after college finding a job, was claiming for 3 months, quit after that as I couldn't stand going down there anymore, places stink with the addicts and boozers. Claiming put me in a state of "why should I get out of bed and go do something it's easier to claim" turned lazy and got fat. Still remember the first day back working, and it was on a chipper with conifer. My body hurt like hell. Agree with a lot of what is being said, I think I hate the people that love in a huge house when it's just two of them and there landlord is claiming loads in housing, move them into a smaller house and move a larg family in, we can't do naff all about what is going on but at least make it worth while. What gets me is people on benefits seem to drive better cars than me, and they can drink all day.... Wish I could afford that, when I started working I was on 14000 per an. Don't Think anyone could survive on that now.....
  8. Didn't even think about apple. Wait till there an apple tree to work on or near. The fresher the better. Lol
  9. Oh and a 12v kettle run from chipper aswell went down very nicely
  10. Decided that the ordinary lunch of sarnies and flask tea was boring so a potatoe went in the chipper in foil and I had a cooked to perfection baked spud with cheese and coleslaw. So the question is what else can I cook for lunch on the chipper engine? I'm no chef just like it cooked, what should I stay away from and has anyone else tried and tested stuff?
  11. Sorry didn't know I had a pc, thought it was a giant paper weight. Lol I want to start climbing now. Anyone know prices for tickets etc, looking in Kent.
  12. Ok so after having a few 200t in and always carb changes then they are perfect after. So the question is does anyone know what actually goes wrong in the carb, they pass all tests but fail on the saw and it is definatly not the saw as I always check them with a running carb and comp testing. Just wondering as I had another one come in today and after telling the customer that it would prob be carb but I need to test it first, they asked how much the new carb is. After telling him he picked up his saw and walked away muttering under his breath. I have tried everything on a carb that is in my parts bin, but nothing seems to work. The carb is spotless and no matter how much tuning is done still no effect. I'm just curiouse, have read before about cracking in the carb body? Not sure how true that is as I have never seen any. Sorry if it has been posted before by the way.
  13. Going to be in the shed under the pillar drill that is right next to the log burner reboring a cylinder. Should stay nix and toasty
  14. Damn straight. Told him not to bother and I would buy it off him for 300 as its knackerd, but he only paid 200 for it so he is happy to spend another 500 getting it fixed. $130 for and oversized piston kit, but doeas come with full gasket set. £50 for reboring by me. Then it's all hours work after that, oh and fitting a road legal kit to it aswell. Should be next to the bench for a few weeks. Keep me out the missis way for a while. Lol
  15. A 1989 trx350 Honda atv. Low compression so needs re boring with oversized piston as its that old Honda don't make parts for it anymore and I have to order from America. Unless anyone knows an atv dealer in the uk that can sort some parts out for me. Complete rebuild of the engine head and all. Been a pain in the backside as it sat in a farmers shed for 2 years then in a garden for another year, then it was ragged like stink and is now not working.
  16. Ok boss I will keep an eye out, are you keeping eye on crapbay.
  17. Not the sort of kit you want to give a numpty then...
  18. Mate sells them by the bag, he bags and splits them into 25kg (roughly) and sells them in bundles, he makes quite a bit from it, he paid for his wedding this way in a winter. He advertised and it went thro the roof he couldn't prosses them quick enough. Have you tried advertising, put a few boards up near roundabouts or near house on roadside.
  19. Rings a bell, mate had it on his, looked ok, just a standard app that allowed you to search for the tree you are looking at by leaf shape bark colour etc.
  20. There was a tree identity app I saw can't remember what it was called tho. Seemed good.
