  1. That will teach you to stay up til silly o'clock in morning on arbtalk.
  2. Sorry if all this has been seems before and posted. Was going to do a post on what's on your bench today. But thought I would start a new thread. So after having three 200t's on my bench over the last couple of weeks and all being stripped down to determin a fault and cause I have noticed a few "differences" between them all. They are not far off different years of manufacture yet all have differences. One difference I noticed was the tank breather and fuel lines. On elf the three had a separate breather at the front of the tank under the carb housing, the other two had the Y shape fuel line with a breather pipe that as its behind the air filter. Another was the carbs, they where all different in ways that the dreaded accelerator pump was a bit different. If noone has seen these before I will get some pics up. It seemend the pump was blocked off on one but to by any techie was actually in alloy and made with the carb body. One didn't have the pump but was not an 020 carb as far as I could make out as it had the tube at the top not a flat plate. The flywheel nut was also different on one saw as it was a very small hex bolt with a washer behind it. Not the usual 13mm nut. Bit confusing when trying to undo it as I had to hunt for a hex key small enough. All these differences where on each different saw. If it was one saw that was different I could understand but they had differences between them. I know manufacturers like to change a product to remove bugs and can see why differences in carb but not the flywheel or the tank breather. Anyway I still say the ms200t is the best topper I have ever seen and once tweaked can be a very fats and powerfull little saw, I mean what other 32cc two stroke can run like that.

    ax men

I've been catching up on American loggers. That's a good show. Not much put on for camera either. If its one where he is trying to buck a log and drives the saw into the ground then yeah I cringed at it.
  4. Too true. Machines are reparable you however are not.
  5. Looks too shiny and new. Quick get it into some timber and get it dirty....
  6. IMO a cat scanner is the most vital piece of equipment for undertaking any earthworks if it be digger or a small landscape job. They are vital for avoiding incidents like yours. But then hindsight is a wounder full thing.
  7. Bit confused. Was it just sitting there on its jockey wheel?? Or was it broken elsewhere?
  8. Here you go this should answer any questions you are having. Knew I had it bookmarked somewhere. Looks like you up a creak without a paddle mate. They cover themselves very well. Pipelines: frequently asked questions - FAQs
  9. There should be some tape over that with. Warning gas below. Written all over it. It should be 6 inches above the pipe for this very reason.
  10. Would have video it and then put it in the stunt fell thread....
  11. Tree hugging hippie.... Ever sliced your leg with a saw...... And my all time favourite. Don't know why you do it I love trees...
  12. Exactly what I just thought..... Not rocket sience really. By the way. God Arnie is looking old.
  13. Looks good drivelink. I'm sure it will get plenty of use. Answers a lt of question s that get asked by people. Liking the videos aswell.
  14. They are very similar to the Honda engines. But as for parts. With the cost of the engine half that of the Honda ones is it worth replacing parts when it's easier to just get another engine........ Maintainance of the engine is key to keeping it going properly. Nice splitter by the way.
  15. Is it Anything like stripagram??????:lol:
  16. Yeah looks a bit shocking. Shows how far people will check there climbing gear every time they climb but not there saws every time they sharpen or change the chain....
  17. :lol::lol:
  18. Chain slipping by any chance spud??
  19. As said. Could gap too big. Flywheel contact points need a clean same as coil. All wires and ht lead in good nick. No cracking or frayed wires. On/off switch earthing contact working properly and disconnecting when turned to start position.
  20. No wounder you want a tracked one then. Harder to leave on bricks.
  21. Plus you will find that insurance companies use corporate lawyers not just average solicitors. Trust me they stop at nothing to get the results they need.
  22. I seem to be stihl. Would like to try husky but all that lands on my bench are stihl. I like the stihl due to less involved than the husky ECU type things. But then I've only ever worked on one husky a few years ago. And that was the first piston I ever fitted to a saw. Havnt seen one since. Worked on Mikita. Ryobi. Dolmer and echo. Don't think there are many around me that own husky. But I'm sure that will change at some point. I have no personal preference when using a saw for cutting. If it cuts timber and runs then I use it.
  23. Sorry answered it on page one. Got the video and the link now. Cheers all
