  1. M thumbs get pins and needles when cold. Had it today. But it's a circulation problem with me. No vib white finger. My feet are also freezing 24/7. Missis hates it in bed. But they don't feel cold to me.
  2. Here you go. Sorry about quality but my phone is crap and it was pouring it down.
  3. I'm afraid I won't be doing it. They don't do it in Poole. We don't get the chance unless we ask. It's not seen as crucial for us as the chances of needing a helicopter in our area is slim.
  4. They where British mate. The medic chopper couldn't get in so they used the apache. I remember that story very well.
  5. My phone is not that good. It's a really basic phone. I will get one up soon as. I love chinooks. We were working once and two flew over slow. You could feel the downdraft and the pressure. There just sooooo loud. Love them.
  6. There is a rule about naming and shaming work. Although no name or shame has been made this thread could start an argument that the mods will have to intervene and delete the thread. If it stays clean and if the person or people who have done the work are on arbtalk they can make a complaint to have the thread removed. IMO so far there has been no reason to delete the thread. But watch this space I suppose.
  7. It was in interesting day today. Got soaked by the snow in the morning then the rain in the afternoon. Cold windy and just plain horrible. But there was one event today that I really enjoyed. We were working at a military school. I went to tip a load of chip at a site and on the way out went past a big parade ground. I heard a very loud thump thump thump. Thought the van was broken, then noticed loads of kids and teachers with phones pointing at the parade ground. I looked and had to stop. There was an apache longbow hovering getting ready to land. Damn those things a huge. Now this interested me because out of any helicopters about this one has to be my most favourite ever. And i nearly wet my pants hearing and seeing it. I have got a pic on my mobile but my network is playing around so when the PC is free I will upload the pic on it. Made a bad day good IMO.
  8. Tbh it could have been anyone. The homeowners could have done it themselves. Does look awfull. But I'm sure there is a lot worse out there.
  9. I did see your post this morning but it was too early to reply I was still half asleep. Couldn't make heads nor tail of it.
  10. I just had to check the whole post. Thought your were on about the buffer mount then
  11. Might be a tapatalk thing then. I don't use it and mine works ok.
  12. You will have to ask d a tree surgeons mate. I work under him when doing tree work but myself when doing tool fixes. I havnt got anything in the tools department but send a pm to d a tree surgeons and ask. After all don't ask don't get.
  13. Oh and don't forget the camera..
  14. Ok. Not sure then. Pm Steve. The tab on mine that says choose file is lit up. So I can use a one from the iPad library.
  15. Shame as the car should have been a ROVER....
  16. Hmmm you should have the option when you go on edit avatar and scroll down a bit it should say choose file. On that with the iPad you should be able to choose existing. Then a picture from the iPad pictures if that what you want.
  17. So what you spending the loot on then?? Any shiny gear you got your eye on??
  18. User control panel or user cp at the bottoming the page. Left hand side it's got the options bit. Look for edit avatar.
  19. Ok gardenkit. You know what's coming next then..... Will have a nose and see if there's anything else I may need while I'm at it.
  20. Nice. Lets hop eits not the first job you have quoted wrong. It won't be t he first and I'm sure it won't be the last. Good luck.
  21. I need to get a closer look at the 201t. Havnt had one in my hands yet. Need to get to a shop and have a good nose at one.
  22. Thank you. Oh I do have one small question. It's on the 200t. The av mount on front bottom of the handle has stripped the thread. I havnt had a close look at it yet but need to know if I can re tap a thread in it and use another bolt?? Is this worth it or just get another mount??
  23. Great another toy I need to buy. Think you mr gardenkit. It's all shiny and new. I must have one now. So how much and where did you get it from?
  24. Don't expect it to last. Should last until tomorrow night after I see what the missis has left me in my bank account after the shopping.
  25. I am in the spirit. I got mr jack Daniels already. Oh you mean the Xmas spirit.:lol: Happy holidays everyone.
