  1. Oh dear..... But I have to say it justin that is hilarious. I have given up making such sort of plans as it never works out.
  2. That sounds like a plan. I've always got questions on mowers come grass cutting season.
  3. If the saw will run. Even tho it may be run I would try and get it warmed up and do another comp test. One hot one cold. May give a small indication on compression. That's if the saw will run.
  4. And thank you jammy, I now have that stupid thing in my head and I won't go away.
  5. I did ask a question about using the 12v sharpener before and I got shot down badly for even thinking about using it.... http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/49986-anyone-use-these.html
  6. That's not an us cleaner. That's a deep fat fryer  ok just the one funny reply.
  7. I'm too tired to add any funny remarks. There is one thing while your there spud. The boss is looking for a husky that you have in your profile picture. He is also looking to get it ported as a logging saw. If you know of any up for sale give us a shout please bud.
  8. Easy. Pull the spark plug from said saw or engine. Screw in correct size end for gauge, open the throttle so there is as much air going into engine as possible. Pull starter I usually do it about Severn times. 5 to 7 seems to be the magic number. Look at gauge and see what the psi is. Press the little button under the gauge on the line to release the pressure. The pressure will only build until it reaches its maximum a non return valve stops the gauge going back down again.
  9. Just nice to see some evidence about what people say. I have no interest on o license or vehicles of the like. Hearsay is one thing but proven hearsay with links to documents is another.
  10. So far all I've seen and read is a lot of I think this or that. Anyone got links to evidence to back up anything they are saying???
  11. The geko leather straps or Velcro straps are the same price. Bit of personal preference really.
  12. Nah just me I'm already certified mate. When I had counciling years ago I think she gave up on me as a lost cause. Personally I wanted a second opinion as I thought she was more off the rocker than I was. by the way it's not really a joke.
  13. I always do stuff like that. Can't help it. But what you have to take into very carefull consideration is the engine noise you would like to make. I prefer to make the roar of a v12 with the 200t carbs.. Or a small diesel single cylinder thump thump with a larger chainsaw carb.... Think I need the doc.
  14. Yes thank you stumpy. That's the exact one I was after. Just thought the video was fantatic and how it was done. Have to watch it again. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/rigging-roping/32860-you-think-you-technical-rigger.html
  15. No not at all. I remember they couldnt cut and chuck or normally lower it as all the ground below was spiritual to the locals and was full of statues.
  16. Urm I'm sure the question should be about how it got there I. The first place. If the flood happend after it was put there then fine. But if the flood was already there and they tried to drive through it then I would feel no shame in laughing about it.
  17. Looking for a thread ages ago where they were rigging and taking down a tree in some sort of spiritual land. They rigged the tree and lowered using all sorts of devices and pulleys and lowered it down to the ground. It was an awesome video and would like to watch it again. I've done loads of searches but can't seem to find it. Should really subscribe to these threads so I can find them easier.
  18. I just found a set of nice alloys in a flood.
  19. Oh oh oh. Forgot about a unimog with front linkage chipper. Take the table off and let it run. I'm sure I could mod it in t he workshop to take a bigger feeder. Paint the town red so to speak.
  20. Make the truck into a killing machine. Big spikes and mashers on the front and metal plating over the windows. Then just drive full pelt through town. Could turn it into a game...
  21. My lot would run out of food in a day. They would panic eat instead of buy. I would just wait for the neighbours to kick it then go and rob all there stuff. Shouldn't take long for them.
  22. Nah I just don't get enough sleep. I'm always logged on as its the iPad.
  23. Sorry stumpy but I'm NOT the kind of person that is willing to wait and see what happens. If I done that I would never leave the house.
