  1. Don't worry about it mine come out 180 out. I find that posting with the iPad up the same way you took the pic works. So home button on right side for pic then right side for posting
  2. Sorry to put a huge downer on the thread but if you can't get arb work because no transport how are you going to do pest control???.. Moving poison, traps, guns, ammo, and materials like fencing and dead animals isn't really ideal on public transport...... Sorry just my opinion. Not digging or anything.
  3. I'm sure I read something about half of honey brothers hanging off your harness on another thread before
  4. I go on charter boats. One is one 40 quid for the day. Simple and easy, no fuss or mess with boat ownership. Or registration fuel costs repair costs. Etc. Did own a boat before but it wasn't worth the effort plus cost of mooring it was way too much effort. Pay someone else to run a boat and just pay for the day. No obligation either so if I wake up on the day and don't fancy it i just don't go. Havnt had a fishing rod off this one yet but summer isn't here yet.
  5. Now that is an arb truck worth buying.
  6. Thought this thread could do with popping back up again.....
  7. Cool. Sorry just seen this thread again. Ok, my mistake. thought it was a typo about the steering and meant brakes.
  8. Well looking at it from my view 5k would cripple me. I don't have anywhere near that amount of money and would probably go bankrupt at the thought of it.
  9. Hhhmmmm, the adjuster screw just spins round. Will look at it and see what I can make of it.
  10. Yes mate, very well behaved. Exept for me flooding it out yesterday it's been good as gold. Still need to check the oiler over but not much of a problem there as it is sending oil out but IMO it doesn't seem to be enough as in too much left in tank compared to a tank of fuel.
  11. Think you mean brake system. If you buy agri they have both hyd and air brake system. Attachment on the back dictates the braking system and legal speed of tractor.
  12. Been thinking about that dolmar today. Still in two minds over it as its a sweet running saw already. Button the other hand I would like a fast saw, I'm going to look into it at some point and strip it down see what i can do. Might need advise on changing to port timing. And any carb mods that can be done. The rest is just normal stuff. Might get a rude boy exhaust going aswell. Ordered the 026 parts today aswell. As soon as they arrive the saw is ready for RTU.
  13. Agree with spud. But the ms200t doesn't leave a lot of room for porting. You can make nearly if not the same amount of power by increasing the squish and a muffler mod. D a tree surgeons 200t is modded and ported, havnt told him that yet as he just thinks its a thirsty saw. Waiting for the phone call now. His runs on a 14 inch bar and when I tested it, it cut through and 13 inch timber without bogging or stopping, just munched it up. It's a very powerfull saw, to the point that when testing it I was scared of it. The best advice I would give you over the 200t would be to get it refurbed, then see how it runs for a while before getting it modded.
  14. Your right and I do know the whole story but being respective to the persons privacy I will not tell the whole story. Just not done. Actions have consequences but in his defence he did lose his job shortly after taking the loan and went self employed thinking that the PPI would take over after 30 days but it didn't. He didn't question this point and is now going to have to sort it another way. Anyway spoke to him a short while ago. He does seem worried about it but on the other hand not sorting it will cause more problems. Basically told him to man up and get it sorted. He is going to book appointment with CAB next week and see what they can advise him. It's playing more on my mind than his I think. It's just made me relise how easy it CAN be to get into trouble over something.
  15. Thanks treequip. Would be interesting to know. Its all very interesting going on. I guess it's more knowing what is what and having an idea about it all even if its all locked away in my head. Been reading a few more things online and at gov.co.uk they say that the car must be works use, and proven to be, he has a landy for getting off road when needed. Not expensive but beside the point.. Also about assets, and work tools cannot be touched only items for the private life, so items you have outside of your working. https://www.gov.uk/bankruptcy/overview Will forward this link onto him. Kind of explains a lot but can't see the small print and that always worries me with things like this. Yes Stephen you are right, he should and going by the letter he has he will soon. He has had a few letters over it all but he did move a few years ago and only just received letters a short while ago again. Not much of defence. He has already done the means deceleration a short while ago.
  16. Not sure how many assets a freelancer can have. I've just looked at mine and apart form a few tool boxes and the land rover I havnt actually got any. Don't own my own home. And don't have any saws that are mine. Guess I would be buggered if it was me then Will ask him tonight if he has had any legal aid yet. I did read that they can force bankruptcy if they think you are unable to pay the amount you offer. So now I've started the thread over it what does going bankrupt mean and what does it do? I've spent hours last night looking at the Internet but there is so much on there and most contradict each other. I know you have to pay for it, and you lose anything you may own.
  17. So what exactly is a stat declaration me thingy then?? And what does it mean. I'm just intrigued by it all now.
  18. Nah he didn't say declaration just said order to attend court to answer questions. Did ask if it had the court stamp on it and it did. And a long list of things he needs to take. Like statements and previouse tax returns etc. That was my opinion Steve. He seems to think its the best way out of it. But being a freelancer means his car could go. What impression I got from reading through the Internet last night. Always thought that if you made a good offer of repayment they are more or less obliged to accept it.
  19. So what's the ltd company about. Please explain. He is not by the way, sole trader and freelancer.
  20. They also sell a top handle.. Wounder if it beats the 201
  21. I was talking to an old school friend yesterday and he is looking at going bankrupt.. Owes too much money that he thinks he will never be able to pay off. Comes from a lone a long time ago and he is now in arrears and has been given a letter to attend court to answer questions. I tried to help in out as much as I could but didn't really know many ins and outs of it all. I know they can take almost everything you own, but in his position without his car he is stuffed for working. I told him to make them an offer to pay back each month but this was done a while ago and they have still sent the letter. Does is mean they have rejected the offer. Told him to increase it depending on how the attendance thing works out. So what would be the best course of action? Is bankruptcy a huge no no or can it be a blessing in disguise? And what actually happens? Has anyone been there and done it? I'm sure he said he owes 5 grand or somewhere around that figure.
  22. Depends on the the refurb and hours that need go into it. At a guess and the worst case would be new piston, carb, seals. 180. But get into new crank shaft and its not worth the hassle IMO.
  23. I'm with you spud. Maybe a little bit of popping up..... Well have a good look at it soon and take it apart to see what I can do to it. Might send you a few pics to see what you think aswell.
  24. Done loads of them this year alone. They are always worth it IMO. Unless its something major wrong, like the casing has gone. Everything else is replaceable. What's wrong with it? Or are you just in need of it checking over.
