  1. I'm sure that's someone on here selling it. Remember a thread on it in the past few months
  2. Not sure Jon! It'll carry big bales and a cubic metre bag of logs fine so that's the main thing! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Just got the forks sorted, much better than trying to use a bale spike lol Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. 2010 non X-Torq Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Hi JON. Love my 372xp on a 20" bar! Its a pleasure to use, got quite a bit of Oak to get through with it and it loves it. I'm going to see about it getting the Spud treatment at some point too! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. MCA Kingstone on eBay is quite a bit cheaper than Bag Supplies, even if you only buy 10 at a time he's still cheaper per bag than buying in bulk elsewhere.
  7. Going to be my first year seasoning in vented bulk bags and IBC's. Any tips on how best to stack and season them outside? Do I need to leave gaps between the bags/IBCs? How many deep do you recommend going etc. I know it seems simple, throw them in the bag/IBC then stack but just thought it might be one of those things people that have been doing it for years have some little tricks and knowledge to share that I might not think of!
  8. Right I need mine doing! Once felling seasons done with I'm going to get this done!
  9. I buy pretty much everything online because the Husky dealer local to me is too expensive
  10. I logged up quite a large Oak tree in September that had fallen off the top of a rock face about 5 years ago. Then split it all up. It was still fresh as if I had felled it that day! It's brilliant when seasoned but it really does need to be left to dry for a couple of years AFTER its been split Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. I would stack on pallets in rows. Then put pallets across the top of the stack and put a tarpaulin over the top. Leave the sides open for the wind to blow through. The pallet on top of the stack is so the tarpaulin is raised off the logs so they can still breath. If you have a loader tractor or similar available you could always put the logs in to vented bulk bags and stack the bags. Again just a tarp over the top of them. Saves having to stack the logs, you just throw them in.
  12. Just looked at TWB Engineering, they sell them as well. Thanks for the help everyone
  13. Cheers Jon Sent using Arbtalk iPad App
  14. Funny you say that I saw some MF 90 brackets for sale and also thought they looked the same. Will have to have a measure up and compare Sent using Arbtalk iPad App
  15. Cheers I've emailed them Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. These are the brackets on the bucket Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. We just got a new (to us) tractor too. NH TL 80. Only 3300 hours on a '99 V! Handy little tractor Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Found some forks. Agri-linc want £90 for the weld on brackets. Is there any where else to try that might be cheaper? Turns out its not a farm hand loader, its a Faucheux loader. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. I pay £1.50 for 3kg bags of kiln dried kindling Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. One small thing I noticed. When viewing attached pictures you get the option at the top right to save the photo or on the left hand side you can press done. On all my other apps "done" is on the top right so I keep pressing save by accident instead of done... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Just picked my new splitter up at the weekend
  22. Just downloaded to iPhone. Seems good. Will get it on my iPad later. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Noticed a place near me has no seasoned hardwood left, they're selling it as part seasoned with the reason being due to high demand and a poor summer for seasoning. They are a reasonable size outfit too.
  24. I wouldn't dream of ringing anyone at 7:40am on a Sunday! I haven't got a problem delivering on Sundays but I think it's bit thoughtless to be phoning at that time in the morning.
  25. I used to deliver to a pub where he was specifically asking for it not to be dry. The logs were kept outside with no cover over them either. I don't deliver there now as I was bothered about someone thinking I supply wet logs! I took a load to another pub last week and they were really pleased they had got dry logs as everyone else they'd tried brought them wet.
