  1. Moving around on a slope or uneven ground I use it or if I'm going to walk any distance more than about 2 metres I'll put it on Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. That's a lot of wood for one customer! They must have it on all day every day... and have deep pockets!
  3. With the Granberg guides you can set it so you get equal length cutters easily. Rob has done some very good videos demonstrating how to use them Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. I use a Granberg clamp on file guide. It's brilliant, never had my chains cutting so well before. And have a Granberg electric sharpener for doing damaged chains.
  5. Can only dream of having a Fendt! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. What powers your TL? I want smaller fatter front wheels & tyres for ours. They're a bit like crop tyres whats on it at the moment! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  12. Hi JON. Love my 372xp on a 20" bar! Its a pleasure to use, got quite a bit of Oak to get through with it and it loves it. I'm going to see about it getting the Spud treatment at some point too! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. MCA Kingstone on eBay is quite a bit cheaper than Bag Supplies, even if you only buy 10 at a time he's still cheaper per bag than buying in bulk elsewhere.
  14. Going to be my first year seasoning in vented bulk bags and IBC's. Any tips on how best to stack and season them outside? Do I need to leave gaps between the bags/IBCs? How many deep do you recommend going etc. I know it seems simple, throw them in the bag/IBC then stack but just thought it might be one of those things people that have been doing it for years have some little tricks and knowledge to share that I might not think of!
  15. Right I need mine doing! Once felling seasons done with I'm going to get this done!
  16. I buy pretty much everything online because the Husky dealer local to me is too expensive
  17. I logged up quite a large Oak tree in September that had fallen off the top of a rock face about 5 years ago. Then split it all up. It was still fresh as if I had felled it that day! It's brilliant when seasoned but it really does need to be left to dry for a couple of years AFTER its been split Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. I would stack on pallets in rows. Then put pallets across the top of the stack and put a tarpaulin over the top. Leave the sides open for the wind to blow through. The pallet on top of the stack is so the tarpaulin is raised off the logs so they can still breath. If you have a loader tractor or similar available you could always put the logs in to vented bulk bags and stack the bags. Again just a tarp over the top of them. Saves having to stack the logs, you just throw them in.
  19. Just looked at TWB Engineering, they sell them as well. Thanks for the help everyone

  24. We just got a new (to us) tractor too. NH TL 80. Only 3300 hours on a '99 V! Handy little tractor Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Found some forks. Agri-linc want £90 for the weld on brackets. Is there any where else to try that might be cheaper? Turns out its not a farm hand loader, its a Faucheux loader. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
