  1. Hi Guys, Thanks for all your input, it's jogged my memory some what and gave me some ideas on what to do for the time being, till I hopefully get up on my feet. Think I'm going to stack the split logs on pallets in rows with some "top-tex" on top to keep out the inclement weather. That way I can utilise the minimum amount of space I have, to it's full advantage. Thanks again, NCC
  2. Hi Guys, I'm new to the logging world and would just like some advice on whats the best way to season logs? I'm currently splitting all my stock, which is recently felled ash and putting it into a pile. Said pile is outside and currently around 15ft round by 5ft high with more to come. Its raised up on pallets and isn't covered, so open to the elements. Will the logs season like this, or is it best to stack them up in rows etc? I'm worried that the centre of the pile won't season? mY MC is approx 30% and storing it undercover isn't possible yet. Your thoughts would be appreciated Cheers, NCC
