  3. i find the USA forums very good most people who collect old relics like me and have the same sort of passion are on the same wavelength and you can get the things your after i say with any forum you only get out what gets put in
  4. dolmar PS-7910 H comes in around the price range well worth considering
  5. well put dolmar oem parts are the way to go i had sachs dolmar 70cc engine give up and looked at the 133 85cc genuine parts and also the 85cc copy and they werent so well refined so went for genuine and havent looked back since another point when buying a replacement the 6401 7301 7901 saws where fitted with de-comp button so you will have to modify top cover also these saws some parts are obsolete now and if you ever see a ignition coil for the 6400 7300 7900 either black or red coil check your saw which you have and buy it as they are thin on the ground :thumbup:

    Dlomar 7900

    i have read somewhere on the internet last year that some of the 7900's had idling and running problems and it was owing to a sloppy throttle shaft in the housing on the zama c3m carb maybe worth a check

  13. Yes the first saw is defiantly a 75 but this second saw is a mystery here is another view

I got another one its brand new unused it was in a box under underneath some other boxes it is in a jonsereds 85 box the starter assembly is missing and the clutch it hasn't even been started it looks similar to the XF I thought it might be the XG but it's the wrong colour according to Mike acres site ??

I have just bought up a large amount of chainsaws last week husky, jonsered ,solo ,danarm , dolmar, homelite and stihl from somebody who is retiring Some old saws some new saws and some parts saws Here is a jonsered I was wondering if anybody could identify it runs and cuts like a dream :thumbup:

  19. that £150 is one of those one off deals probably its not a common price across the board i could get the saw wholesale for that price but not sell it at that price i have the PS-350sc here which is semi pro with a low kickback safety chain £199 + vat perfect for cutting up pallets and also light enough for a carving bar cutting up pallets is'nt a job for a big saw thats my opinion :thumbup:
