  1. You are right there wiseco . There is a train of thought that you get what you pay for and it is very true in most cases . Chinese saw comes to mind but there is also price snobbery . Would you believe when we were short of work we were pricing jobs just to get them hoping to get more work from it . That did not work . So we put our prices up and now we are going like a train ! .....
  2. Thats superb . We felled a dead one last year and ringed up some large bits for the customer , he said for carving . Don't think he has done anything with it . Shame when you see this sort of thing .
  3. So me being a brash dragging bitch is not too up myself then ?
  4. Expensive fire wood then ! Makes me shudder when you put it like that , the stuff we have ringed up in the past .
  5. The Vibram soles are like that . Sam,e on my Zermatts . There is a new Vibram sole however , just being marketed now to combat that problem . There is a thread on here about it . Short vid of bloke walking to and fro on the ice . Seems to have sorted it . I am size 8 by the way .........
  6. Yea I see were yo are coming from marketing wise . Thing is any one who knows about it will just make it into a 372 ....Its the ordinary punters I suppose who make it worth their while .
  7. Just as as aside ... Welsh lamb is my fave !
  8. Yea I see that point ! :biggrin:Just did not see the point of Husky making it .

  10. Your entirely missing the point Matty . What you don't seem to understand is that CJM is right and we are all wrong ......Simple as that bud
  11. The short bloke s one is called a NO VIZ
  12. Short blokes HI VIZ is black .....
  13. Gone very cold now Jon . Supposed to piss down to night and most of tomorrow .
  14. I think I would sooner have the special than the X torque . The special is tried and tested and you can rely on it . The new X torque seems to be having a few problems by some accounts . As I understand it it needs some work on the transferees and it becomes a 372XP . Because of this I cant see the point of it really ....

Well . Time will tell but so far they look to be wearing well . I have a " fleet " so far . 15" on my 346 , 18" pictured on 560 , 24" on 372 , 28" on 390 and 36" on 395 . Just leaves the big old 3120 to fit one to . So to answer your question ....yes I would .

You get a free naked woman with every one ......No actually they are very well made and hard wearing it seems . I have the pro light weight ones and they make the saw a little less nose heavy which is good if you are using longer bars .
  18. You forgot to say put a bit by for a port job!
  19. I hate it when its turned around like that . Tony Martin etc . If one was disarmed then he had some nasty intent when he was armed would you not say ?
  20. frees up the flow of the exhaust gasses some . Runs better and slightly cooler . Your not going to set anything alight in this climate ! ! !
  21. Just a word of caution I think that mine at least is rated at 5kw nominal . Realistically it punts out more than that . It heats the whole house not just the room its in . The back room and up the stairs . I used the formula for the size of room and it came out at just under 4kw required but went for the 5kw coz of the back room having no door on it but it does heat much more than I thought . I think it better to have a smaller stove burning properly than a big stove ticking over all the time ( in terms of chimney cleanliness and glass staying clear . Also sitting around in your shreddies mid winter seems wrong !
