  1. Sugihara Pro Light for me . Full chiz chain probably Oregon or Stihl . Maybe semi skip if you are going to bury the full bar all the time .
  2. Dont think there is such a thing as cut proof gloves . They need to be cut to make them stop the saw when the ballistic material comes out on the chain and wraps around the sprocket jamming the saw . I dont think they are needed on modern saws . I use the Sugihra gloves as above .
  3. Oh I missed read initial post Steve . Thought he wanted to run a 30" + bar .
  4. Ok . For me it would Husqvarna 395 XP .
  5. I saw Craig Chalmers tackle him properly once . Dived and wrapped arms around is thighs and dropped to his ankles and over he went .
  6. All the out board clutches I have had ( all Huskys ) have been a piece of piss to remove . No need for a piston stop of any kind . Compression is enough . Make sure the blue button is out . A copper or aluminum drift on one of the clutch segments . Sharp tap with a mallet and it spins off .
  7. You need 90cc + for a 30" bar really . Soo Husky 390 or 395 , Stihl 660 or the Dolmar or Echo equivalents .
  8. Been missing from the pitch for a few yeas and now gone for ever . Amazing athlete .
  9. expect its because we have "the wrong kind of leaves " same as we have " the wrong kind of snow "
  10. Yea maybe just richen up it a tad
  11. I planted some small Oaks I had grown my self a couple of years back . They were doing fine until some knob with tractor and flail rashered them off to the ground .
  12. How you Chiefs doing ? We have not lost a match yet bud !
  13. You provocative bugger ! You just want to fire up sawtroll !
  14. Or change your user name from Gnome to Knob .
  15. You have air getting in somewhere leening it out . Check the carb boot is not split . Fuel lines , impulse line etc . Best get it fixed before it nips up .
  16. Top rightish there is a yellow search tab . Click that put in " boots " then sift through . ...Air Streams are popular but check all the comments . Some find them too narrow others too cold and some have said they are not as robust as the were when they first came out . Anyway I used Meindle Wood Walkers for the ground and Pfanner Zermatts or spiking .
  17. When you put in a search there are some unrelated posts but scroll down the page until you find one .
  18. It had a ceramic matrix in it . .... I thought it was a DPF but maybe I am wrong .
  19. West Sussex is windy as a windy thing Jon .COME ON YOU QUINS !
