  1. MY wife's horse gave me both barrels once in the chest . That put me in hospital . Its like being hit by a freight train ........
  2. Spud ported my 346 ( amongst others ) around 2011 ish . Used it yesterday on a windblown beech . In all that time it has had one new spark plug . still going like a feisty whippet ! .
  3. Could it be down to bad circulation ? That Ian Botham advert made me think of it .
  4. I could manage the yellow paint ........
  5. I was 7 when that came out . Anything I get right I learnt from you Steve
  6. On behalf of Spud .....Yep . Responds well to porting and a slight timing advance I think .
  7. All of the above . Change of technique maybe ?
  8. Never had any problems with either other than the 3120 was too heavy as I got older .
  9. Is yer knee hurting a tad
  10. I have had both . (still got 395 ) . I prefer the 395 . Mine is on a 36" .404 .
  11. Very diplomatic answer . I would chuck out the 567 and replace it with a 372 purely on the weight . Same power .
  12. Stunted Oak on the forshore has been showing for 3 weeks now . Ash and syc about a week .
  13. You can fit a 372 top end or a " Big Bore " aftermarket kit but not the simple mod that you can do on the xtorque model .
  14. I just assumed ( wrongly ) that you would already be on pain killers before you did the damage (because of your chosen profession ! ) Professional help is all I can suggest matey .
  15. A company called " Land and Water " did a bit round here a couple of years back . Think the Environment agency subbed them in . River was backing up and the main soil pipe down the valley was shooting up out of the man hole covers . Took a while but they sorted it ..
  16. TCD . What a bummer bud . Obviously you live on pain killers already working in the woods . Dont know what to say really . Lots of rest followed by the appropriate strengthening exercises maybe ?
  17. Its coz I am very old
  18. Flowfit would be a good place to look for the pump and bell housing . They can supply to fit most engine types . I think Loncin are now owned by Kohler and the quality is pretty good now . For 9hp you could safely use 11GPM pump .
  19. There have been 3 versions of 365 in my life time . 365 , 365Special and 365Xtorque I have used the 2 earlier versions . First 365 was open ported I think with a Zama carb . Also was front chain tensioner . The 365 special was a much stronger saw with closed ports and a Walbro carb . Side chain tensioner . Also stronger 372 bottom end as stated above . If its a special as your title suggests its a good saw .
  20. Think OP is referring to the older Special .
  21. Loncin started off copying Honda GX engines . Now they are up in arms over other Chinese manufactures copying their copy ! Bonkers
